What is RPF ?
The Railways Protection Force (RPF) is mandated with ensuring the safety and security of railway property. Over time, it became evident that the existing provisions of the RPF Act and its regulations were inadequate for maintaining an efficient and disciplined force. Consequently, Parliament amended the RPF Act in 1985 through Act No. 60 of 1985, enhancing its framework to establish and manage the force as a federally armed entity of the Union.
How to Apply for RRB Recruitment 2024 ?

- Click “Create an Account”. If you’re already registered, click “Apply”.
- Click “Already Have an Account?”.
- Enter your User Name (Mobile Number / Email ID) and Password to Register.
2. Account Creation (New Registrants) : On the RRB Create Account page, fill in all required details (Personal Information and Contact Details).
3. OTP Verification : Verify your Email ID, Mobile Number, and Aadhaar Card through OTP.
4. Password Creation : Create your password and click “Preview and Create an Account”.
5. Login : After registration, log in through rrbapply.gov.in using your User Name (Email ID or Mobile No.) and Password.

Eligibility and Application Portal :
- Nationality : Candidates must be Indian citizens.
- Age : Minimum age requirement for RRB RPF exam 2024 is 20 years. Maximum age is 28 years for general candidates with various relaxations for SC /ST /OBC /Ex-Servicemen /Widows, etc. Additionally, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there is a one-time age relaxation of 3 years beyond the upper age limit.
