Applying for Degree Programme under the of Kerala :
  1. Online Registration:
    • Visit admissions.keralauniversity.ac.in to register online.
  2. Generating Application Number and Password:
    • Click on “Click here for Registration” button on the UG page of the website.
    • Provide basic details like Exam Board, Register Number, Year of Passing, Name, Date of Birth, Gender, and Email id.
    • After entering the required details, you’ll receive a unique application number and password. The default password is the candidate’s date of birth in dd/mm/yyyy format.
  3. Login:
    • Use the application number and password generated in the previous step to login.
  4. Instructions for Online Registration :
    • Read the instructions carefully before proceeding.
    • Click the “Proceed” button to begin the registration process.
  5. Steps for Online Registration :
    • Step 1: Candidate Profile Registration
      • Enter personal details including Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Contact Mobile Number, Email, Address, Father/Guardian’s Name, Religion, Caste, Category, Allotment Category, etc.
      • Specify if the candidate is Keralite, Indian, belongs to OEC category, EWS category, has special weightage, is differently abled, or has represented in sports competitions.
    • Step 2: Academic Profile Registration
      • Enter details of the qualifying examination such as Type of Examination, Board of Study, Stream, Year of Passing, Number of Appearances, Examination Register Number, Pre-knowledge of Arabic, Mark Details, etc.
      • Save the details and continue.
    • Step 3: Add and Change Options
      • Select program / college options carefully, prioritizing them as per preference.
      • Add, change, or delete options as needed.
    • Step 4: Registration Fee Payment
      • General/SEBC candidates: Rs. 600/-
      • SC/ST candidates: Rs. 350/-
      • Pay the registration fee online.
    • Step 5: Upload Photo and Signature
      • Upload a clear photo and signature as per the specified dimensions and format.
    • Step 6: Verify the Application
      • Verify all the details entered before final submission.
    • Step 7: Print out of Completed Application Form
      • Take a printout of the completed application form.
    • Step 8: Changing of Password (Mandatory)
      • Change the password during the next login using the OTP received on the registered mobile number.
  6. Mode of Registration for Sports Quota :
    • Candidates opting for sports quota should upload sports achievement certificates after Step 5.
    • Select the level of achievement and upload scanned copies of certificates.
  7. Conditions for Updating Information :
    • Candidates can edit some information after registration by logging in and accessing their profile.
Age Limit :

The maximum age limit for admission to the UG programs will be determined as of the 1st of June of the academic year as follows :

  • For General / SEBC candidates: 23 years.

– This seat is solely for Lakshadweep students and should not be filled by other candidates.
Wards of Kashmiri Migrants – Extension of admission deadline by about 30 days.
– Relaxation in cut-off percentage up to 10% with a minimum eligibility requirement.
– Intake capacity increase up to 5% course-wise.
– Waiver of domicile requirements.
– Migration facilitation in subsequent years.
Candidates from Jammu and Kashmir – Creation of two additional seats over the sanctioned strength for Jammu & Kashmir candidates in UG programs.
Inmates of Government Children’s Homes – One additional seat over the sanctioned strength in Govt./Aided colleges for Inmates of Government Children’s Homes as per the Juvenile Justice Act.
Widows/Wards of Defence Personnel – Additional seats created as needed for widows/wards of Defence Personnel killed or disabled during service, per UGC policy.

  1. Trial Allotment:
    • A trial allotment is provided after registration closure to give candidates an idea of their admission chances based on registered options.
    • Editing is permitted before the First Allotment.
    • Trial allotment does not guarantee admission.
  2. First Allotment:
    • Published after the trial allotment period.
    • Candidates can check allotment details in their profile.
    • Allotted candidates must remit the fee as per procedure to secure their seat.
    • Failure to remit the fee in time forfeits further allotment consideration.
  3. Fee Payment on Allotment:
