How to check EWS Allotment Results ?
  • Vist the official website of EWS website – edudel.nic.in
  • Click on the tab ‘EWS DG Result 2024-2025’ on the departmental website edudel.nic.in.
  • To check the school allotted via Computerized Draw of lots, applicants must use their Registration ID & Date Of Birth
  • If allotted, the screen will display the school name.
  • If not allotted, a message stating ‘It is regretted that you have not been selected in the draw of lots’ will appear.
  • Incorrect Registration ID / Date of Birth will prompt a message saying ‘No Record Found’.
Important Instructions for Schools :
  • Conduct thorough scrutiny and verification of documents provided by applicants.
  • Verify the authenticity of EWS / DG & CWSN certificates online or through written confirmation from the issuing authority.
  • Accept income certificates declaring annual family income below Rs. 1,00,000 for EWS Category admissions.
  • Do not request income certificates from EWS Category parents holding BPL / AYY / Food Security Cards issued by the Delhi government.
  • No income certificate required for DG/ CWSN Category admissions.
  • Accept self-attested documents without the need for attestation by a Gazetted Officer, but verify with original documents.
  • Issue proper acknowledgment for admission requests declared in the computerised draw of lots.
  • Inform all selected candidates via registered mobile number about their selection and admission deadline.
  • Do not deny admission to EWS / DG & CWSN Category children based on distance range.
  • Admit selected candidates in order of their Serial Number allocated through the computerised draw of lots.
  • Update admission status on the school’s web page by July 1, 2024, for applicants allotted through the computerised draw of lots.
Documents Required For Admission :

Successful applicants must visit the allocated school by June 28, 2024, 1 PM, bringing :

  1. Printed application form
  2. Two candidate photographs
  3. Child’s Aadhar Card copy (optional)
  4. Parents’ Aadhar Card copy
  5. Self-attested proof of date of birth
  6. Self-attested residential proof
  7. Self-attested documentary proof for EWS / DG & CWSN Category (if applicable)
  8. Self-attested legal guardianship copy (if applicable)
General Instruction For Parents :
  • Parents / guardians should retain original documents for school verification.
  • Failure to report to the school by June 28, 2024, 1 PM, as notified via SMS, will result in application cancellation.
  • Parents / schools can seek clarification or raise grievances by contacting the respective Deputy Director of (District / Zone) / Assistant Director.
  • Once allotted, the school cannot changed under any circumstances.
  • Admission will cancelled if submitted documents are found to forged or fake.
Reservation Criteria :
  • According to the RTE Act, 2009, private unaided recognised schools must reserve 25% of seats in entry-level classes for children from weaker sections and disadvantaged groups.
  • To ensure uniformity, an online admission process was implemented for all private unaided recognised schools in Delhi, starting from the academic session 2016-17. This process will continue for the academic session 2024-25.
  • A circular requested information on entry-level seats and total class strength from district education departments.
  • All discrepancies in the submitted information should reported to the respective district education departments.
  • The district education departments are responsible for reviewing and forwarding any representations to the Private School Branch headquarters.
  • Previous requests for changes in EWS /DG /CWSN seats will not considered for the 2024-25 session.
  • If no representations are received, the data provided in Annexure-1 will presumed correct, and candidates will allotted seats through computerised draw of lots.
  • Schools cannot deny admission to successful candidates based on claims of no vacancy or exceeding the 25% quota.
General Instruction for all concerned :
  • Grievances related to schools under the Directorate of can addressed to respective district nodal officers (Annexure ‘A’).
  • Grievances related to MCD schools can addressed to respective zone nodal officers (Annexure ‘B’).
  • Grievances related to NDMC schools can addressed to the concerned department with attached details (Annexure ‘C’).
  • Help desks will set up by district / zone authorities to assist parents of EWS/DG & CWSN Category.
  • Parents can also contact the EWS helpline number during working hours from Monday to Friday.
  • District / Zone officials will address parents’ grievances and coordinate with schools for successful candidate admissions if needed.
  • Schools can verify student / application details through the departmental website, edudel.nic.in, using the school ID and password.
  • The school can access all online application details of allotted applicants through the provided link.
