SUBMISSION OF THE FORM AT THE SCHOOL AFTER SELECTION :

Examination / Assessments :
  • Examination results will conveyed through Report / Assessment cards.
  • Students absent from an examination for any reason will not re-examined.
  • Students caught copying or using unfair means will face serious consequences and will not awarded any grade or marks for that particular examination.
  • Requests for verification of grade or marks in special cases will considered at the discretion of the Principal, where answer papers may inspected.
  • Promotion from one class to another at the end of the academic year will based on the student’s performance throughout the year.
  • To promoted to the next higher class, students should achieve the qualifying mark in all subjects in the year-end examinations in a single attempt as per CBSE norms.
  • Consideration will given to class work records, assignments, project works, subject enrichment activities, portfolios, and art integration projects.
  • If a student is unable to appear for the whole or part of an examination for a valid reason, their case will reviewed based on their year’s unit test performance, assignments, and submission of project work by a special committee.
Promotion Criterion :
  • For Classes I to VIII: Results will prepared based on CBSE rules. Low attendance and inability to cope with the syllabus may result in detention in the same class after mutual consent of parents and school authorities.
  • For Class IX: Promotion requires students to appear for all formal assessments and score at least 33% marks in all examinable subjects as well as in aggregate, along with optimal attendance.
  • For Class X: Promotion criteria follow CBSE policies.
  • For Class XI: Promotion requires students to appear for all formal assessments and score at least 33% marks in all examinable subjects as well as in aggregate, separately in both theory and practical assessments, along with optimal attendance.
  • For Class XII: Promotion criteria align with CBSE policies.
Proficiency Certificates :
  • For Classes IV to X: Subject-wise certificates will awarded to students with 90% attendance in the session.
  • For Classes XI to XII: Certificates will awarded to students who have secured above 85% in individual examinable subjects in the annual consolidated result and maintained more than 90% attendance in the session.
Registration for Admission :

Visakha valley School Admission

a) Parents must register their children by filling and submitting the Registration cum Admission form online. Admission for Class LKG is through a lottery system, and for other classes, it is based on merit, subject to vacancy.

b) Only applications fulfilling minimum requirements will considered.

c) Admission is granted irrespective of caste, creed, language, social status, or domicile, following strict secular principles. No concessions for religious practices are provided during school hours.

Eligibility Criteria :

a) Age criteria: LKG (3 years 3 months to 4 years 3 months), UKG (4 years 3 months to 5 years 3 months), Class 1 (5 years 3 months to 6 years 3 months) as on June 1 of the registration year. For higher classes, age criteria follow accordingly.

b) Required documents: Date of birth certificate issued by Municipal Corporation or Mandal Revenue Officer Form no 9. T.C from recognized schools is also acceptable for higher classes.

Admission Process :
  • Admission for classes other than LKG is based on screening through interaction.
  • Admission is subject to seat availability.
  • The school management reserves the right to change the number of seats or sections without prior notice.
  • Once admissions are closed for a class, no waiting list holds for potential vacancies during the academic year.
Fees and Dues :
  • The school management reserves the right to set or revise school fees as necessary.
  • Parents/Guardians are required to pay school fees and other dues promptly.
Conditions for Admission :

a) Submit Original Date of Birth Certificate.

b) Provide Original School leaving certificate/T.C.

c) Present Progress report from the last school attended.

d) Furnish a Medical certificate for fitness.

e) Submit Xerox copy of Aadhar Card.

Transfer Certificate Procedure :
  • Transfer Certificate should issued and countersigned as per guidelines.
  • For students migrating between CBSE affiliated schools, specific authorities must countersign the certificate.
Health Requirements :
  • Provide a Medical Certificate from a qualified Registered Medical Practitioner certifying freedom from contagious diseases and physical fitness.
  • The Medical Certificate must include information about any allergies to drugs.
Assessment Report :
  • Provide Assessment Report from the last school attended.
Grounds for Removal :
  1. The Head of the institution reserves the right to remove any pupil from the school rolls for:a. Unauthorised absence exceeding 30 days.b. Indiscipline, serious misconduct, or use of unfair means in tests and examinations.

    c. Failure to pay school dues on time.

  2. False information furnished by the Parent / Guardian may result in admission cancellation and forfeiture of fees.
Important Guidelines for Admission :
  • Registration is necessary for school admission and typically begins in January, though it does not guarantee admission.
  • At admission, students must provide either a Transfer Certificate or birth certificate.
  • Nursery and kindergarten classes cater to ages 3 to 5, while minimum age for Class I is 5+.
  • Students are expected to adhere to strict discipline, cleanliness, and courtesy; disobedience may lead to dismissal.
  • Parents may asked to withdraw children for disciplinary reasons, and unpaid fees may result in barring from classes.
  • Late fee payments incur fines; non-payment by the 30th will result in removal from the register.
  • Transfer certificates are withheld unless full academic year fees are paid, or in case of parent/guardian transfer after term fee payment.
  • Applications for Transfer Certificate should submitted by March 31st.
  • Late TC applications after removal from rolls/discontinuity incur penalties.
  • Fees once paid are non-refundable.
