The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued the NDA 2 notification for 2024, aiming to fill 404 vacancies. The online application link is now active, with the deadline set for June 4, 2024. Editing of the NDA 2 application form will possible from June 5 to 11, 2024. Offline application fee payments are accepted until June 3, 2024, while online payments can made until June 4, 2024. The examination is scheduled for September 1, 2024.

The NDA exam, held twice yearly, selects candidates for admission to Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the National Defence Academy and Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). How to Apply ?
- Website : Candidates must apply online at upsconline.nic.in.
- One Time Registration (OTR) :
- Register first at the OTR platform on the Commission’s website.
- OTR is required only once in a lifetime and can done anytime.
- If already registered, proceed to fill out the online application for the examination.
Modification in OTR Profile :
- One-Time Change :
- Changes in the OTR profile are allowed only once after registration.
- This option is available until 7 days after the closure of the application window for the candidate’s first final application.
- If the candidate applies for the first time in this examination, the last date for OTR modification is 11.06.2024.
Modification in Application Form (Other than OTR Profile) :
- Correction Window :
- Corrections can made from 05.06.2024 to 11.06.2024.
- No changes in the OTR profile can made during this period by visiting the application form correction window.
- For OTR profile changes during this period, login to the OTR platform.
Application Withdrawal :
- No Withdrawal: Candidates cannot withdraw their applications after submission.
Photo ID Details :
- Required Details :
- Provide details of one photo ID (Aadhar Card, Voter Card, PAN Card, Passport, Driving License, School Photo ID, or any other government-issued photo ID).
- The same photo ID must uploaded with the online application form.
- This photo ID will used for all future references, and candidates must carry it while appearing for examinations/SSB.
Eligibility Criteria for NDA 2 :
Nationality :
- Must an unmarried male or female.
- Must :
- A citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal, or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African countries (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam) with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Age Limits, Sex, and Marital Status :
- Only unmarried male and female candidates are eligible.
- Birth dates must between 2nd January 2006 and 1st January 2009.
- The date of birth accepted by the Commission is that entered in the official records.

- Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy & 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at Indian Naval Academy : 12th Class pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics of the 10+2 pattern of School or equivalent conducted by a State Board or a .
Physical Standards :
- Candidates must physically fit according to the physical standards for admission to National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II), 2024 as per guidelines in Appendix-IV.
Additional Eligibility :
- Candidates who have resigned or withdrawn on disciplinary grounds from any of the training academies of the Armed Forces are not eligible to apply.
Application Fee for NDA Registration :
- Amount : Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only).
- Exemptions : SC / ST candidates, female candidates, and Wards of JCOs / NCOs /ORs.

- Visa / Master / RuPay Credit / Debit Card / UPI Payment.

NDA syllabus :
- It covers topics under Mathematics and GAT.
- Mathematics syllabus includes Algebra, Calculus, Matrices, Trigonometry, and more.
- GAT syllabus has two parts: Part A covers English and Part B covers General Knowledge.
