Types of UP Scholarship 2024-25 :
- Pre-Matric Scholarship for Class 9-10 : Offered to students studying in 9th and 10th grades.
- Post Matric Scholarship for Intermediate (Class 11-12) : Available for students enrolled in 11th and 12th grades.

Domicile Requirement :
- Applicants must hold a domicile of Uttar Pradesh to be eligible for the scholarship.
- Students should be enrolled in a school, college, or university within Uttar Pradesh.
- The educational institution where the student is enrolled must be registered on the UP scholarship portal.
Academic Qualification :
- Post-matric Scholarship: Students must be studying in 11th or 12th grade.
- Post-matric Scholarship (Other than 11th, 12th): Students should be pursuing a course in graduation or post-graduation from a recognized /College.
- Pre-matric Scholarship: Students must be studying in 9th or 10th grade.
Categories Eligible:
- Students belonging to minority communities such as Christian, Sikh, Bodh, Muslim, Parsi, and Jain can apply under the Minority category.
- SC, ST, OBC, and General category students are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
Income Criteria:
- For post-matric scholarship, the family income should not exceed Rs. 2 lakh per annum.
- For pre-matric scholarship, the student’s family income should not exceed Rs. 1 lakh per annum.

Applying for UP Scholarship 2024-25 :
Step 1: Online Registration
- Visit scholarship.up.gov.in.
- Click ‘Student’ under ‘Menu’ to register.
- Fill in required details in the online form.
- Create a password and submit.
- Note down the application number.
Step 2: Login
- Return to homepage and access UP Scholarship 2024 login.
- Choose scholarship type (Pre-matric/Post-matric).
- Enter registration number, date of birth, and password.
- Solve Captcha and login.
3rd Step : Fill Application Form
- Click application form link after login.
- Enter educational, personal, caste, income, bank, and fee details.

- Logout and login to upload photo.
- Ensure JPEG/JPG format, ≤20 KB.
