The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the UGC NET Admit Card for June 2024 in the same month. The UGC NET / JRF examination scheduled for 18 June 2024. Candidates can download their UGC NET June Admit Card 2024 by logging into the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in, using their application number and date of birth. The UGC NET / JRF exam is held twice a year to determine the eligibility of candidates for assistant professorships in Indian universities or to receive Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) awards.

Applicants who have successfully registered for the upcoming examination can obtain their admit cards by providing their application number and date of birth. How to Download UGC NET Admit Card 2024 ?
  • Visit the official UGC NET website : ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
  • Click on the link for “UGC NET Hall Ticket 2024.”

Documents to carried to the Examination Centre :
  • Printed copy of Admit Card downloaded from NTA website.
  • One passport size photograph (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form) for pasting on the specific space in the Attendance Sheet at Centre during the Examination.
  • Any one of the authorised photo IDs (must original, valid and non-expired) – PAN card / Driving License /Passport / Aadhaar Card (With photograph) / Aadhaar).
  • The name on the photo identification must match the name as shown on the Admit Card.
UGC NET Exam Pattern :
Paper Marks No Questions Description
I 100 50 The questions in Paper I intend to assess the teaching / research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily designed to test reasoning ability, reading comprehension, divergent thinking, and general awareness of the candidate.
II 200 100 This is based on the subject selected by the candidate and will assess domain knowledge.
UGC NET Exam City Intimation Slip 2024 :
  • The National Testing Agency (NTA) will issue an examination city information slip to each candidate.
  • This slip contains crucial information about the candidate’s scheduled exam centre city.
  • Candidates should carefully read the details on the list.
  • Report any discrepancies to NTA immediately.
  • Download the exam city list from the official NTA UGC NET website using login credentials.
Display of Recorded Responses :
  • NTA will display the Question Paper and attempted recorded responses by candidates on ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
  • This display will occur prior to the declaration of the result.
  • The Question paper attempted and recorded responses will likely available for two to three days.
  • Candidates are advised to download the response sheet for future reference.
  • NTA will not provide any copy of the response sheet after the declaration of the result under the RTI Act.
Display of Provisional Answer Key(s) for Challenges :
  • Provisional Answer Key(s) and Question Paper attempted by the candidate will displayed on NTA’s website.
  • Exact date for the display will announced after the examination.
  • Provisional Answer Key(s) will likely available for two to three days.
  • Candidates need to pay Rs. 200 per answer key challenged, as processing fee, through online mode.
  • Only challenges made within the stipulated time through the key challenge link will considered.
  • Challenges without justification /evidence /after stipulated time period or through other mediums will not considered.
  • NTA’s decision on challenges will final, and no further communication will entertained.
  • Candidates will not individually informed about the outcome of the challenges made.
  • Subject experts will examine all challenges, and a final answer key will displayed.
  • Result will compiled based on the final answer key declared.
Re-evaluation :

Re-evaluation or re-checking of the result will not permitted. Correspondence regarding this matter will not entertained.
