Justice Basheer Ahmed Sayeed Women’s College, located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, is a women’s college managed by the South Indian al Trust. Established with the aim of providing higher education opportunities to women in the state, it is affiliated with the of Madras.

Recognized for its commitment to academic excellence, the college was awarded the status of College with Potential for Excellence (CPE) by the UGC in April 2016. Known for its superior academic standards and well-equipped facilities, the college strives to admit students who uphold its esteemed principles and standards.

Admission Policy of Justice Basheer Ahmed Sayeed Women’s College :

• The college admits students for various programs in both Aided and Self-financing Streams.
• Admission processes align with guidelines from the Directorate of Collegiate .
• An Admission Committee, comprising the Chairman as Convener, Executive Council Members, Principal, and Vice-Principals, oversees admission procedures.

Application Procedure Siet College :

• Applications for all programs are available online upon result declaration.
• Eligible candidates can access the college website to submit applications.
• The prospectus, outlining offered programs, is also accessible online.
• Applications must be submitted within ten days of the publication of State Board Higher Secondary results.
• Each applicant receives a unique application number upon submission.

Inclusive Selection Process : Preference is given to differently-abled students during admissions.

Justice Basheer Ahmed Sayeed Women’s College Selection Procedure :

• Departmental decentralization facilitates the selection process.
• Departments access applications using unique IDs and passwords.
• Eligible applications are arranged based on merit for selection.
• Selected candidates are notified via email and SMS.
• Lists of selected candidates are posted on the college website and notice board.
• Selected candidates must appear for interviews and document verification as scheduled.

Document Verification and Interview Siet College:

• Original documents, including Plus Two mark sheets, Transfer Certificates, Conduct Certificates, etc., must be submitted during interviews.
• Admission to programs is provisional, subject to verification of certificates.

Siet College Fee Payment :

• Selected candidates must pay prescribed fees within the specified time.
• Fees are paid online, and non-payment results in non-enrollment or class attendance.

Withdrawal Policy : Once fees are paid, no remission is granted, regardless of attendance.

No Donation Policy :

• The college does not collect donations or capitation fees for admission.
• No external agency is authorized to select students for admission.

Eligibility Criteria for Undergraduate (U.G.) Programs :

• Candidates for Three Year Degree Courses must have passed the Plus Two Examination or equivalent recognized by the of Madras.
• The upper age limit for undergraduate programs is 21 years, with exceptions for differently-abled and women candidates.
