How to Register on Seva Sindhu Portal ?

• Visit the Seva Sindhu website portal at sevasindhu.karnataka.gov.in
• Navigate to the homepage menu and select the “department and services” tab.
• A new page will appear, presenting the requirements and eligibility criteria for the bus pass.
• Read through the information and click on “apply online.”
• Proceed to “service plus” and register as a new user by entering your Aadhaar card details.
• The registration page will be displayed on the portal.
• Enter the required details and click the submit button to finalize the registration process.

KSRTC Student Bus Pass Online Apply 2024 :

1. Go to the KSRTC website portal at ksrtc.in

2. Select the ‘Apply Now’ tab from the menu to access the registration form.

3. Input the necessary details including personal information, contact details, educational data, and pass information.

4. Upload a recent photo following the provided guidelines.

5. Review all the information entered and click on the submit button to complete the application.

Documents Required :

• Government – issued passport
• Voter ID card
• Aadhaar card
• Driver’s license
• Identity card displaying the applicant’s date of birth
• Residential address proof from a recognized government body or corporation
• Senior citizen identity card issued by KSRTC
• Legal document from the Physically Challenged and Senior Citizens’ Welfare Directorate

Application Status of BMTC and KSRTC Student Bus Pass on the Seva Sindhu app :

1. Visit the Seva Sindhu website portal : Seva Sindhu Portal.
2. Log in to your Seva Sindhu account using your credentials. If you don’t have an account, you may need to register first.
3. Once logged in, navigate to the “Application Status” section.
4. Select the option for “BMTC Student Bus Pass” or “KSRTC Student Bus Pass” depending on the type of pass you have applied for.
5. Enter the required details such as your application reference number or any other relevant information as prompted.
6. Click on the “Check Status” button to view the current status of your application.
7. Review the status displayed on the screen. If your application is approved, it will indicate the next steps to collect your bus pass. If further action is required, follow the instructions provided.
8. Once you have checked the status, you can log out of your Seva Sindhu account.

Types of Bus Pass : Other Than Student Pass 

Type	Description
Daily Pass	Valid only for the specific day of purchase.  Allows travel within the city limits of that particular city.
Monthly Pass	Issued at concession rates to students, traders, and employees. Allows daily travel between two points (residence to school or work). Can be obtained at bus stations or online. Valid for one year. – Requires a photo identity card provided by KSRTC at Rs. 50 per card. – Available for both ordinary and express services. – Ordinary month passes are for ordinary services only.

 

Senior Citizen Concession :

• KSRTC provides concessions for Rajahamsa and low-class services.
• Eligible users must be senior citizens aged 60 years and above.
• A 25% concession is offered on the basic bus fare.
• This privilege is applicable only to residents of Karnataka.

Bus Pass Concession for Physically Challenged People :

Eligibility Criteria :

1. To qualify for the bus pass concession, individuals with disabilities must meet certain criteria.
2. The government of Karnataka sets the pass rate for persons with disabilities at Rs. 660/-.
3. The concession is available to individuals with a disability of at least 40%, encompassing various conditions such as visual or hearing impairment, Amblyopia, mental disorders, dementia, Locomotor disability, and leprosy patients.

Pass Coverage :

• KSRTC passes enable travel on city, suburban, ordinary, and express buses operated by KSRTC, BMTC, NEKRTC, and NWKRTC.
• Pass holders entitled to travel up to 100 kilometers from their residence.

How to Apply For a Bus Pass (Senior Citizens and Physically Challenged Users) ?

Application Process:

1. Obtain an application form from Divisional offices in Karnataka or access it online.
2. Fill out the application form with the necessary details.
3. Attach proof documents such as the disability certificate and identity card.

Renewal Procedure :

• Renew the bus pass annually between 1st January and 28th February.
• New applicants can apply at any time during the year.
