The Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) Phase 2 continues to advance India’s cleanliness and sanitation goals through the introduction of the SBM 2.0 IMIS app, specifically designed for urban areas. This app facilitates the application process for Individual Household Latrines (IHHL) under SBM Urban, enabling citizens to easily register and apply for toilet construction and conversion. City Sanitation Plan : Cities can enter data for the City Sanitation Plan as per the CSP Template.

Ward Level Information : ULBs can enter SBM Officer Details and Existing Sanitation Infrastructure Details on a ward-wise basis.

Pre-Requisites for Filling Up IHHL Application :

• Scanned copy of the applicant’s photograph (mandatory).
• Bank account details (mandatory).
• Scanned copy of the first page of the bank passbook showing account details (mandatory).
• If the applicant does not have an Aadhaar number, a copy of the Aadhaar enrollment slip is required.

State / Cities :

• States, cities, and wards can view/update respective information based on their role privileges.
• Model RFPs and technical help are available to ULBs under this menu option.

City Level Information :

• All ULBs must view the wards list of their respective statutory towns as existing with MOUD.
• ULBs can update ward names or add entries as required under City Level Information.
• If there are excess wards in the ULB’s wards master list, they can be deleted by sending a mail to [email protected].

Individual Household Latrine (IHHL) Application :

Citizen Application Process :

Citizens can apply for IHHL construction incentives through the Applicant Login.

An OTP is sent to the applicant’s mobile and email each time they log in.

New applicants need to sign up on the site.

IHHL Application Format :

• ULBs (Urban Local Bodies) can create accounts and assist citizens with applications through their Help Desk.
• Common Services Centres (CSCs) can also assist citizens in filing applications.

Application Submission :

• After submitting the application, users receive an Acknowledgement ID to track the application’s status.

Official Processing :

• ULB officials can process applications through the Official Login.
• ULBs can create verifier logins for each ward using the provided login ID in Official Login.
• Approver credentials for officials can be obtained from [email protected].

Verifier Role :

• Verifiers can view and act on pending applications by either verifying or rejecting them.
• Upon first login, verifiers must change their password as prompted by their profile display.

Toilet Owner’s Particulars – Required :

1. Name of Applicant: Enter the applicant’s name (mandatory).
2. Gender: Select gender (Male/Female) (mandatory).
3. Father / Husband’s Name: Enter the name (mandatory).
4. Mobile No: Enter a 10-digit mobile number (mandatory).
5. Residential Address: Enter the address (mandatory).
6. Status of Existing Toilet: Select the status from the list (mandatory).
7. Aadhar Linked Transfer of Incentive: Select Yes/No (default is No).
8. Aadhar Number: Enter the 12-digit Aadhar number (optional).
9. Bank Account Details:
   • Name of Bank: Select from the list (mandatory).
   • Bank City: Select from the list (mandatory).
   • Bank Branch Name: Select from the list (mandatory).
   • IFSC Code: Displayed automatically (mandatory).
   • Account Number: Enter account number (mandatory).
   • Confirm Account Number: Re-enter to confirm (mandatory).
   • Passbook First Page Scanned Copy: Upload (jpg, <50KB) (optional).
10. Photograph of Applicant: Upload (jpg, <50KB) (mandatory).
11. Bulk Construction by ULB: Select Yes/No (default is No) (mandatory).

Accessing Swachh Bharat Mission Urban Online :

• ULBs can access from the Ministry of Urban Development homepage: moud.gov.in
• Direct access through: moudulbs.nic.in or SwachhBharatUrban.gov.in

Login Credentials :

• All ULBs must send an email to [email protected]
• Upload a letter from the Chairperson forwarding:
  • Name & designation
  • Email & mobile number of the nominated Data Reporting Officer
• This is required for obtaining login credentials to the portal
