Revaluation for Cbse Class 12 2025
The CBSE Board has announced the release of the 2025 results for class 10th. The board has initiated the process for revaluation, recounting, and re-verification for the academic year 2024-25. The board has provided detailed information regarding this process. To have their mark sheets reassessed or rechecked, students will required to complete an application form. According to the official circular, students dissatisfied with their result marks can opt to verify their mark sheet, obtain a photocopy of their answer book, and request re-evaluation. The verification window will open for five days, beginning from the fourth day after the result announcement. Students seeking a re-evaluation of their marks can apply online via cbseresults.nic.in.
Quick reminder for CBSE Class 12th students that the online re-evaluation are ongoing from 6 June 2025, and will last upto 7 June 2025 until midnight (tentative).
Key Highlights Regarding CBSE Class 12 Re-evaluation :
- Verification of marks for Class 12 starts on May 17, 2025, and lasts up to May 21, 2025 (tentative) until Midnight.
- Obtaining a Photocopy of Evaluated answer Books for Class 12 has been scheduled for June 1 to June 2, 2025, until midnight.
- Re-evaluation for Class 12 dates released is from June 6 to June 7 until Midnight. Most importantly, it lasts only for two days.

- Visit the official website – cbse.gov.in.
- Navigate to the ‘Examinations’ or ‘Student’ section and click on the ‘Apply for Revaluation‘ link.
- Fill out the application form with the necessary details.
- Follow the instructions provided on the form.
- Click on ‘Submit’ and proceed to pay the application fee.

Guidelines for Students :
Students availing these facilities are urged to carefully read the guidelines before applying to avoid any inconvenience later.
1. Application Process:
- Requests will only accepted online within the specified schedules along with processing charges.
- No offline applications will entertained after the scheduled deadline.
- Circulars regarding the proposed schedule have been issued by CBSE in advance.
2. Processing Charges:
- Processing charges must paid online via Credit / Debit Card or Net Banking.
- Payments through Postal Order / DD / Money order / Cheque / Cash will not accepted.
- Incomplete or fee-less applications will summarily rejected.
3. Application Limitation:
- Only one application per candidate for each step will accepted.
- Candidates must decide in advance whether to apply for one subject or multiple subjects.
- No second opportunity will provided once the application is submitted.
4. Responsibility and Consequences:
- CBSE will not liable for any consequences resulting from mark revision or process delays beyond its control.
- Even a decrease of one mark will implemented.
5. Change in Marks:
- In case of a change in marks, candidates must surrender their Marksheet cum Certificate.
- A new Marksheet cum Certificate with revised performance will issued thereafter.
- Processing charges are non-refundable.
IMPORTANT NOTES :
- The outcome will communicated through the candidate’s login account on the CBSE website.
- Initial communication regarding mark changes will uploaded, followed by the actual recalculated results.
- Applicants should regularly check the CBSE website for verification request status.
Application for Obtaining a Photocopy of the Evaluated Answer Book :
a. Eligibility : Only candidates who have applied for verification of Marks Online are eligible to apply for obtaining a photocopy of the evaluated answer book(s).
b. Processing Charges : Processing charges are Rs. 700/- per subject for Class XII. Refer to Annexure-1 for the schedule.
c. Application Guidelines : Any application submitted on behalf of the candidate or incomplete applications will summarily rejected.
d. Document Provision : Applicants will receive a scanned copy of the Answer Book in their login account with all identifying information of the Examiner/Evaluator blocked.
e) Challenge Option : Candidates desiring to challenge the marks awarded to any answers must apply online for re-evaluation of answers as per the schedule.
Re-evaluation of Evaluated Answer Book :
a. Eligibility : Only candidates who have applied online for obtaining a photocopy of the evaluated answer book are eligible to apply for re-evaluation or challenge the marks awarded to any answer(s).
b. Request Procedure: Requests for re-evaluation /challenges will accepted for the theory portion only, at Rs. 100/- per question.
c. Application Process :
- Candidates must refer to the marking scheme available on the website along with the question paper.
- Submit an application for revaluation in the required question with clear and proper reasoning.
d. Result Communication : The status of revaluation will uploaded on the website, followed by a formal communication from the Regional Office.
e. Impact of Change: Even a decrease of one mark will implemented in the final result.
f. Finality of Result: The result of the re-evaluation will final, and no appeal or review against the re-evaluation will entertained.

- Incomplete, offline, or fee-deficient applications will be rejected without further communication.
- Each candidate is allowed only one application per process step online, whether for one subject or multiple subjects.
