Finance Minister Diya Kumari presented the budget in the Assembly, announcing recruitment for 1650 positions in Rajasthan Roadways. Employees of Roadways have expressed gratitude to the government for this announcement. Additionally, the budget includes announcements to build modern bus stands in 10 districts, including Ajmer, Bharatpur, Dholpur, Kota, and Udaipur.
Similarly, the budget also includes announcements to purchase 500 express buses and 300 electric buses for Roadways. Furthermore, 800 buses will taken on contract. Electric buses will operated in major cities such as Bikaner and Bharatpur. Rajasthan Roadways has not recruiting employees for many years, which has led to operations being conducted with contract workers.
