Rajasthan’s leader (Cm), Bhajan lal Sharma, announced a new initiative to distribute free laptops to outstanding students. Under the Free Laptop Scheme, students who achieve 75% or higher in their 8th, 10th, and 12th-grade exams will be eligible to receive a laptop. This scheme aims to improve the quality of education in the state, especially during challenging times like the COVID-19 pandemic, by providing students with the tools they need to pursue their studies online.

To qualify, students must reside in Rajasthan and come from families with limited financial resources. The government plans to support a total of 21,300 students through this scheme: 6,000 students from the 8th grade, 6,300 from the 10th grade, and 9,000 from the 12th grade. This initiative is designed to facilitate online learning and help students advance to higher education levels.

Procedure to Register For Namo Tablet Yojana :

• Visit your respective college to enroll in the Namo Tablet Scheme.
• The institution will provide details of eligible candidates on the official website.
• Authorities will log in to the portal using their unique institute ID.
• The institution will navigate to the ‘Add New Student’ tab.
• Your details, such as name, category, course, etc., will be entered.
• The institution will input your board and seat number.
• The institution will deposit Rs. 1000 to the head of the institute.
• The head will generate a receipt against this payment.
• The receipt number and date will be entered on the website.
• Finally, the tablet will be provided to you.

Eligibility Criteria :

To avail of the benefits of the Namo Tablet Scheme, you must meet the following eligibility criteria :

• The annual household income must not exceed Rupees 1 lakh.
• The applicant must be a resident of Rajasthan state.
• applicant must belong to the below-poverty-line category.
• The applicant must have completed 12th grade in the current financial year and be admitted to the first year of a graduation course in any college.

While applying for the Namo Tablet Scheme, ensure you have the following documents :

• Domicile certificate
• Address Proof
• Voter ID card
• Aadhar card
• 12th-grade passing certificate
• Admission confirmation certificate for an undergraduate or polytechnic course
• Below poverty line certificate
• Caste certificate

How to Check the List of Beneficiaries of Rajasthan Free Laptop Scheme 2024 ?

• Visit Official Website : Go to the official RBSE website at rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in.
• Navigate to Eligibility Check : On the homepage, find and select the option “KNOW ELIGIBILITY.”
• Check Your Eligibility : On the next page, choose the option “CHECK YOUR ELIGIBILITY.”
• Enter Details : Enter your 12th class roll number and select the year. Click on the option “Meritorious Students” to access the list.
• Print the List: Don’t forget to print out the list for your records.
