  2. Apart from above mentioned courses many other sub stream courses are also available in PSG College of Arts and science.
  3. PSG College of Arts and Science Admission Notification date : Usually after one week of release of class 12th result.
  4.  Selection Criteria : Selection is entirely based on marks obtained by students in senior secondary class, in some cases it is also based in marks scored in Common Entrance Test  conducted by the Institute.

Admission to all programs at PSG College of Arts and Science will be determined by merit, except for the MSW and MA (Journalism and Mass Communication) courses, which require students to undergo an entrance examination conducted by PSGCAS. To apply for admission to PSGCAS Coimbatore, students must register online via the PSGCAS admission portal.

PSG College Creating Account :

  • Proceed to the login page and click on “Create Account.”
  • Enter your personal or parents’ mobile number.
  • Agree to the Terms and Conditions and click on “Next.”
  • An OTP will be sent to the provided mobile number.
  • Enter the OTP and click on “Verify.”
  • Enter your email address and click on “Next.”
  • Another OTP will be sent to the provided email address.
  • Enter the OTP and click on “Verify.”
  • Set a password and confirm it.
  • Click on “Sign Up” to complete the account creation process.

PSG College Login :

  • Enter the registered mobile number and password, then click on “Log In.”
  • The application form will be displayed for filling in details.
  • Click on “Forgot Password?” to set a new password if needed.
  • Enter the registered mobile number and click on “Next.”
  • Enter the OTP sent to the mobile number and click on “Verify.”
  • Set a new password and confirm it.
  • Click on “Update Password” to change the password.

Check PSG College Personal Details :

  • Enter the applicant’s name as stated on the 10th Mark Sheet.
  • Ensure the applicant’s date of birth is not beyond the year 2008.
  • Select the gender of the applicant as Male, Female, or Transgender. If female, specify if there are siblings.
  • Input the 10th Examination Roll Number as in the 10th Mark Sheet.
  • Select the nationality and residential status.
  • Enter the 12-digit Aadhar Number if the nationality and residential status are Indian.
  • Upload a recent passport size photo of the applicant, along with soft copies of the 10th Mark Sheet and Aadhar Card. Ensure the attachments are in JPG/PNG format and do not exceed 512 kb.
  • Select the religion, community, caste, and the issuing state.
  • If the religion is Christianity, specify if the applicant is a converted Christian.
  • For SC/ST/SCA communities, confirm by clicking on “I Agree.”
  • Castes are listed based on the selected community. If your caste is not listed, select “YES” to view all options.
  • Upload the Community Certificate provided by the State Government, ensuring it is in JPG/PNG format and does not exceed 512 kb.

Commencement of Admission Counselling for Special Category On the fourth day after 12th TNHSE Board results, counselling for special categories (Sports, NCC, Ex-Servicemen, and Differently abled) at PSGCAS venues.
Commencement of Admission Counselling for TNHSE Board On the fifth day after 12th TNHSE Board results, counselling for language programs, arts, and science (based on 12th subjects) at PSGCAS venues.
Commencement of Admission Counselling for Spot Admission Programmes Counselling for Spot Admission Programmes starts on the first day after 12th TNHSE results. Guidelines and programs for spot admissions are available on the website.

PSG College – Verification and Payment :

  • After entering all the required details, click on the declaration and “Verify & Pay” to proceed with the verification.
  • Review all the details entered in the application form and click on “Mark as Verified” for each section.
  • If needed, click on “Edit Application Form” to modify the entered details.

Check PSG College – Programme Selection :

  • Eligible programmes are listed based on the subjects studied in the 12th standard.
  • Select the programme to apply for, agree to the terms and conditions, and click on “Confirm.”
  • Review the amount to be paid and click on “Proceed to Payment.”
  • If necessary, click on “Cancel” to update the programme selection.

PSG College – Payment :

  • Accept the terms and conditions and click on “Pay Now.”
  • Select the payment method and proceed with the payment.
  • Upon successful payment of the application fee, an Application Number will be generated for the programme.

PSG College Eligibility Criteria :

  • The eligibility criteria for candidates applying for undergraduate and postgraduate aided/Self-Finance programs are different depending upon the programme they choose to opt.
  • For post graduate programs, the candidate stands eligible if he/she has completed the graduation with the mandatory subjects required for the respective program.

PSG Counselling 2024 :

– Admission counselling starts on the fifth day after the publication of TNHSE 12th results.
– If merit counselling for a particular community is completed, admission counselling will only be conducted for available community vacancies.
– Candidates unable to attend counselling on the assigned date and slot can request re-counselling by emailing [email protected].
– Re-counselling will be based on available vacancies for the respective program, and only candidates with valid reasons will be considered.
– Re-counselling takes place on subsequent days after the lapse of the generated rank list.

For candidates from CBSE and Other Boards :

– Similar admission processes apply to candidates from CBSE board after their results are published.
– For other boards (e.g., NIOS, ISE / ICSE, Kerala HSE, etc.), admission occurs after their respective 12th results are published.
– If multiple boards release results simultaneously, they will be combined for admission processes.
