Eligibility Criteria :

To eligible for the PM Internship Scheme, candidates must meet the following criteria :

• Age: Applicants need to between 21 and 24 years old by the application deadline.
• Citizenship: Only Indian citizens can apply.
• Employment: Candidates should not in full-time employment while doing the internship.
• : Applicants must not enrolled in full-time degree programs but can apply if they are studying through distance learning or online courses.

Duration of Internship :

PM Internship Scheme: Who Cannot Apply ?

Candidates are not eligible for the PM Internship Scheme if they :

• Are graduates from top institutions like IITs, IIMs, National Law Universities, IISERs, NIDs, and IIITs.
• Hold professional qualifications such as CA, CMA, CS, MBBS, BDS, MBA, or any Master’s or higher degree.
• Are enrolled in any skill training, apprenticeships, internships, or student programs under any Central or State Government scheme.
• Have already completed an apprenticeship or training under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) or the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS).
• Have a family member with an income over ₹8 lakh for the financial year 2023-24.
• Have a family member who is a regular Government employee.
