NTA UGC NET Time Table 2024

The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the revised schedule for the UGC NET 2024 re-exam on August 2, 2024. The re-exam for the June 2024 cycle is set to take place from August 21 to September 4, 2024. This change follows the cancellation of the original June 19, 2024, exam due to integrity issues. The UGC NET exam, which was initially held on June 18, 2024, for 83 subjects, will now conducted in a Computer-Based Test format with a duration of 180 minutes, or 3 hours, without any breaks between Paper 1 and Paper 2. Candidates should review the updated UGC NET syllabus and exam pattern to prepare effectively. The admit card and city intimation slip will available on the official NTA UGC NET website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in, and results are anticipated within three weeks after the exam.

UGC NET Exam Date 2024 :
  • New Exam Dates : The UGC NET 2024 June session, which was previously postponed or canceled, is now rescheduled from August 21, 2024, to September 4, 2024.
  • Exam Mode : The exam will conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT), replacing the earlier offline pen-and-paper format.

UGC NET 2024 Exam Day Instructions :
  • Arrival Time : Candidates should arrive at the exam center at least one hour before the exam starts.
  • Admit Card and ID : Bring the UGC NET admit card and a valid photo ID for verification. Entry to the examination hall will not allowed without these documents.
  • Health Precautions : Candidates showing symptoms of COVID-19 will not allowed to take the exam.
