The registration fee for NMAT 2024 is INR 3,000 for a single attempt, which reflects an increase of INR 200 compared to previous years. Steps to Follow for NMAT by GMAC Registration and NMIMS Application :
Step 1 – NMAT by GMAC Registration :
- Visit www.nmat.org to complete your online registration.
- Pay the registration fee and obtain your NMAT by GMAC registration number.
- Note down your registration number as it is required for the NMIMS application process.
Step 2 – NMIMS Registration :
- Visit www.nmims.edu and enter your NMAT by GMAC registration number.
- Complete the NMIMS application process, which includes program preferences and payment of registration fees.
- Ensure to complete this step before your scheduled exam date. For instance, if your NMAT by GMAC exam is on October 9th, 2024, you must register by October 8th, 2024.
- You must specify a minimum of five program preferences in the registration form.

Important Points for NMAT Registration :
- The registration fee is non-refundable.
- Candidates can register only once; NMAT by GMAC scores will be used for further selection processes.
- Preferences given in the initial registration form are for information purposes; final preferences will be confirmed after shortlisting.
- Carefully review all information entered in the registration form before submission, as changes cannot be made after submission.

Stage 1 – NMAT by GMAC Test :
NMAT by GMAC™ test is mandatory for applying to the following NMIMS programs :

Stage 2 – Shortlisting and Selection :
- Shortlisting based on NMAT sectional and total scores is conducted for candidates applying to NMIMS programs.
- NMIMS organizes the 2nd stage of the selection process for shortlisted candidates.
- Components may include psychometric tests, written aptitude tests, and personal interviews.
- The selection process is conducted in person.
- Candidates should carry their NMAT by GMAC scorecard.
- Call letters are announced on the candidate’s dashboard and are not emailed or sent by post.
Refund Policy for Admission Withdrawal /Cancellation :
- Definition of Withdrawal / Cancellation : Withdrawal or cancellation refers to the voluntary action taken by a candidate to retract their admission for any reason.
- Online Cancellation Process : Candidates must visit the NMIMS website for the online admission cancellation process.
- Refund Guidelines : Refunds will adhere to rules set by competent authorities.
