Cut-off :

NEET Counselling 2024 Options :
Free Exit (Only for Round 1) :
- Candidates assigned a seat in round 1 who do not join or report to the allotted college.
- Consequence : No penalty; the security deposit is not forfeited.
- Eligibility : Candidates can still participate in subsequent rounds.
Exit with Forfeiture :
- Candidates offered a seat in round 2 who decide not to accept the seat.
- Consequence : Security deposit is forfeited.
- Deadline : Must exit within the given period.
- Restriction : Candidates joining the allotted seat in round 2 cannot resign or surrender their seat and are not allowed to participate in state counselling.

New Changes in NEET UG Counselling 2024 :
- Round 3 Participation : No resignations allowed; no further counselling participation after joining.
- AIQ /Deemed /Central Universities : If allotted a seat, name removed from All India Stray Vacancy Round list.
- OCI Cardholders : Same eligibility rights as Indian citizens.
- Round 2 Registration : Fresh registration for unregistered or un-allotted candidates. Upgraded candidates must physically report and can choose to upgrade to Round 3.
- Round 2 Seat Allotment : Non-reporting candidates forfeit their security deposit. No claim on Round 1 seat if upgraded.
- Round 3 Registration : Required for unregistered/resigned candidates from previous rounds.
- Round 2 Joining : Can upgrade to Round 3, but resigning forfeits the security deposit.
- Round 3 Upgrade : Must relieve from Round 2 seat; no further upgrades or resignations allowed after joining.
