Online Registration :
General Instructions :
- Read the prospectus carefully before starting online registration.
- Fill in all details in the online application form carefully and accurately.
- 50% of the seats in aided colleges are filled through the centralised allotment process. Hence, understand the merit seats clearly before submitting options.
Initial Step : The first step in the registration process is to generate the application number and password by visiting www.cap.mgu.ac.in and clicking “Click Here to Apply”.
Profile Registration :
- Only Keralites are eligible for reservation benefits. Non-Keralites cannot claim reservation.
- EWS is a reservation for economically weaker sections of forward communities. Village officer’s Income and Asset Certificate is required.
- Check the caste list in the prospectus before claiming OEC status.
- Provide creamy layer status carefully. Non-creamy layer certificate is required for SEBC reservation.
- Keep relevant certificates ready to claim SC / ST / OEC / EWS reservation and OEC fee concession.
Certificates Required :
1. Plus Two mark list
2. Caste certificate (for SC / ST)
3. Community and non-creamy layer certificate (for SEBC)
4. Income and Asset Certificate (for EWS)
5. Relevant certificates for bonus / weightage
Additional Details :
- Differently-abled candidates must have a medical board certificate or a social welfare department document.
- Provide details for NSS, NCC, Ex-Servicemen / widow or children of jawan and ex-servicemen if eligible for weightage.
- Note the higher fees for self-financing programs and colleges while submitting options.
- Use only your or parent’s mobile number and email ID for registration.
Academic Profile :
- Provide accurate details like year of degree, university, stream, register number, and number of appearances.
- Students from boards other than Kerala State, CBSE, and CISCE need an eligibility certificate from MG .
Options :
- Carefully submit options for preferred colleges and programs only. Although 40 options are allowed, submit only the required number.
Fee Payment :
Pay the registration fee online only, using internet banking, debit / credit cards, etc.
Certificate Upload :
Upload certificates in the specified PDF format and size (max 200 KB).
Application Verification and Printout :
- Carefully verify all the details provided in the application. Minor corrections are permissible.
- Take a printout of the application after completing the registration process.
- If any corrections are required after trial allotment, use the data modification facility and take a fresh printout.
- Do not send the printout to the university.
Eligibility Criteria for Undergraduate Programs :
Candidates must have successfully completed the Plus Two examination or its equivalent, or an examination recognised by this as equivalent.
