⁠Mazi Ladki Bahini (ladli behna) Yojana Maharashtra

The Maharashtra government has announced the launch of a scheme aimed at economically empowering the state’s poor women and improving their financial status, named the Maharashtra Ladli Behna Yojana. Through this scheme, financial assistance of up to ₹1500 will provided to widowed and destitute women from economically weaker sections of the state. The assistance amount under the Ladli Behna Yojana Maharashtra will directly transferred to the bank accounts of eligible women to improve their economic condition.

The Ladli Behna Yojana Maharashtra 2024 will launched on the lines of the Ladli Behna Yojana in Madhya Pradesh. In Madhya Pradesh, women are provided with financial assistance of ₹1250 every month under this scheme. Similarly, the Mahayuti government in Maharashtra has announced the implementation of the Maharashtra Ladli Behna Yojana to attract the women of the state.

Objective of Maharashtra Ladli Behna Yojana

• The primary objective of the Maharashtra Ladli Behna Yojana, initiated by the Maharashtra government following the model of Madhya Pradesh, is to provide financial assistance to women from the state’s economically weaker and middle-class sections every month.
• Under the Ladli Behna Yojana Maharashtra, eligible women will receive financial aid up to ₹1500 per month, aimed at improving their economic empowerment and enabling them to lead better lives.
• The financial assistance provided by the Maharashtra government will directly transferred to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries through debit mode.
