The third allocation for nursing and paramedical courses is currently accessible, along with the rank list for the Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Degree. Special Allotments Guidelines : 

Guidelines for Spot / Special Allotment for Admission to Professional Degree Courses in Nursing and Paramedical Streams – 2024 :

  • Online Option Registration :
    • Candidates must register their options online for special allotments.
    • Each allotment, including special allotments, requires option registration.
    • Include choices for courses and colleges during registration.
    • Registration is open for a limited time.
  • Facilitation Center Procedure :
    • For online special allotments, candidates should visit LBS District Facilitation Centers.
    • Personal attendance is required.
    • If a candidate cannot attend, they must submit an Authorization Letter (Annexure VI).
    • Fees can be paid at the Facilitation Center after receiving the allotment.
  • Admission Process for Special Allotments :
    • College admission is determined by the special allotment received.
    • Candidates must confirm their admission by paying the necessary fee.
    • If new allotments are issued, previous ones will be canceled.
    • Both old and new allotments remain valid until the new one is confirmed.
  • NOC Requirement :
    • Students admitted to government colleges must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for special or supplementary allotments.

  • Step 1 : Registration
    • Click on the “NEW CANDIDATE” button to start the registration process.
    • Fill in all personal details accurately as required in the application.
    • Carefully read the Prospectus before filling the details.
    • Ensure all information provided is correct and complete to maintain eligibility for admission.
    • Complete all items in the registration stage and click “Save and Continue” to proceed.
  • Step 2 : Fee Payment
    • Make the payment of the application fee online or through a Challan.

      General Candidates Rs. 800/-
      SC/ST Candidates Rs. 400/-
      Service Candidates Rs. 800/-
  • Step 3 : Application Entry
    • Note the provided Registration ID and password for future login and keep them confidential.
    • Fill in all remaining items in the application, including academic data.
    • Upload the corresponding certificates / documents to support any claims made in the application.
    • Upload a recent passport size photograph and signature of the candidate in jpeg format as per given specifications.
  • Step 4 : Final Confirmation and Print Application
    • Preview the application before confirmation and submission.
    • Accept the declaration and make the final submission.
    • Take a printout of the Application for future reference.
    • Ensure all mandatory fields are filled, and supporting documents and images are uploaded.
    • Applications must be complete in all respects to be eligible for positioning in the Rank list.
    • Do not send the printout of the Application Form and supporting documents to the Office of Director, LBS Centre.
    • Produce all original documents at the time of admission at the allotted institution.
    • After final confirmation, an Acknowledgement Slip will be generated with a unique Reference Number and Date for future queries.
    • Incomplete final confirmation will render the application incomplete and ineligible for consideration.

lbs nursing and paramedical Nativity Eligibility Criteria :

Keralite :

  • Candidates of Kerala origin are categorised as ‘Keralite’.
  • Children of All India Service (AIS) officers (Non-Keralites) allotted to Kerala cadre are considered ‘Keralites’.
  • Not eligible for Communal / Special / Persons with Disabilities reservation.

Non-Keralite Category I (NK I) :

Candidates not of Kerala origin but meeting any of the following conditions:

  • Undergone qualifying course in Kerala and child of Non-Keralite parents in Government of India/Defense Service posted to Kerala.
  • Undergone qualifying course in Kerala and child of Non-Keralite parents serving/served Government of Kerala for minimum two years.
  • Resided in Kerala State for five years within a twelve-year study period.
  • Completed school studies in Kerala from standard VIII to XII.

Considered against ‘State Merit’ seats.

Not eligible for Communal/Special/Persons with Disabilities reservation or fee concession.

Non-Keralite Category II (NK II):

  • Candidates not falling under ‘Keralite’ or ‘Non-Keralite Category I’ are categorized as ‘Non-Keralite Category II’.
  • Not eligible for Communal/Special/Persons with Disabilities reservation or fee concession.
Certificates to Prove Nativity for Keralites :

Upload one of the following certificates to the online application :

  • True copy of the relevant page of Secondary School Leaving Certificate showing candidate’s place of birth in Kerala.
  • True copy of the relevant page of either parent’s Secondary School Leaving Certificate showing parent’s place of birth in Kerala, with a corroborative certificate establishing the relationship.
  • True copy of the relevant page of candidate’s or parent’s Passport issued by Government of India, showing place of birth in Kerala, with a corroborative certificate establishing the relationship.
  • Birth certificate from competent authority (Panchayat/Municipality/Corporation) showing candidate’s or parent’s place of birth in Kerala, with corroborative certificate establishing the relationship.
  • Certificate from Village Officer/Tahsildar confirming candidate’s or parent’s birth in Kerala (prescribed format to be obtained along with application printout).
  • Certificate from competent authority confirming parent of candidate as All India Service officer allotted to Kerala cadre.
Academic Eligibility Criteria :

For B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. M.L.T, B.Sc. Optometry, B.Sc. Perfusion Technology, B.C.V.T, B.P.T, B.Sc. Medical Radiological Technology, B.Sc. Dialysis Technology & BOT :

  • Must have passed Higher Secondary examination conducted by Board of Higher Secondary , Kerala, or equivalent approved by Kerala of Health Sciences, Thrissur.
  • Requires separate minimum pass marks for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
  • Need to obtain 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology combined.

For B.A.S.L.P. Course :

  • Should have passed Higher Secondary examination conducted by Board of Higher Secondary , Kerala, or equivalent approved by Kerala of Health Sciences, Thrissur.
  • Requires separate minimum pass marks for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
  • Should secure 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology / Mathematics / Computer Science / Statistics / Electronics / Psychology combined.
