Josaa counselling 2024 Registration

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority ( JoSAA ) will begin the JoSAA 2024 registration process tomorrow, June 10, 2024. Candidates who have qualified for the JEE Main or JEE Advanced exams are eligible to participate in JoSAA counselling 2024. The registration link for JoSAA 2024 will activated on the official website, josaa.nic.in.

To considered for seat allotment and subsequent rounds of counselling, students must complete the JoSAA registration and choice filling process. The JoSAA 2024 cutoff will released on the official website after each round of counselling. There will five rounds of JoSAA 2024 counselling. New Updates : JoSAA 2024 Counselling

Counselling Rounds : JoSAA 2024 counselling will consist of only 5 rounds.

New Participating Institutes :

• Central of Jharkhand
• Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya, Vadodara

IIIT Bhubaneswar Seat Reservation: IIIT Bhubaneswar now reserves 50% of the total seats for Odisha State Category (“S”) candidates. Registration will done through the IIIT Bhubaneswar’s official website.

The remaining 50% seats fall under the Open to All (“OTA”) category, with admission through JoSAA / CSAB 2024.

Seat Acceptance Fee: The seat acceptance fee for JoSAA can prepaid on the website through the payment link, which will active from June 14 to July 22.

Candidates can also directly pay the seat acceptance fee through the official website without entering their login credentials.

JoSAA 2024 Registration Process :

• Enter your JEE Main 2024 roll number and password to register.

JoSAA Choice Filling :

• Complete the JoSAA registration process.
• Access the list of available courses and colleges.
• Fill in your choice of courses and colleges from the list.
• The list will display options based on your qualifications (JEE Main or JEE Advanced).
• Select courses and colleges in the order of your preference.

Apply for JoSAA Choice Locking :

• Lock your selected choices.
• Note that no changes can made once choices are locked.
• Take a printout of the locked choices for future reference.

JoSAA Mock Allotment 2024 :

• JoSAA 2024 mock allotment helps candidates understand their chances of admission into preferred colleges.
• The mock allotment results are released on the official website.
• If the allotted colleges and courses are unsatisfactory, candidates can modify their preferences.

How to Check JoSAA Seat Allotment Result 2024 ?

1. Visit the official website at josaa.nic.in.

2. Click on the “View Seat Allotment Result” link.

3. Enter the JEE Main 2024 application number, password, and security pin.

4. Click on “Login”.

5. The JoSAA 2024 seat allotment results will displayed on the screen.

6. Download the allotment letter and take a printout for future reference.

JoSAA Counselling 2024 :

• Eligible candidates must participate in JoSAA 2024 counselling to gain admission to participating institutes.
• The JoSAA 2024 counselling process includes registration, choice filling, mock allotment, final allotment, etc.
• There will six rounds of JoSAA counselling 2024 to accommodate all eligible candidates.

JoSAA 2024 Cutoff : Opening and Closing Rank

The JoSAA 2024 cutoff represents the range of opening and closing ranks required for admission to the participating institutes, including IITs, NITs, IIITs, CFTIs, etc. This cutoff will updated by the authorities following each round of seat allotment.

JoSAA Reporting Centres 2024 :

• Candidates must physically report to JoSAA reporting centres in 2024 for document verification.
• They should bring both original and photocopies of all necessary documents.
• Different reporting centres will designated for NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, and IITs.
• Candidates should report to the centres based on their allotted institutes, whether NIT+ system (NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs) or IITs.
• Once document verification complete, candidates must complete their admission process at their allotted institute.
• If a candidate’s seat allotment changes from the NIT+ system to IITs or vice versa, they must report to the newly assigned institute to avoid seat cancellation.
