The Department of Training & Technical , Delhi, is set to commence the Delhi ITI 2024 Admission process soon at itidelhi.admissions.nic.in. Before applying for admission to Delhi ITI 2024, candidates are advised to carefully review the eligibility criteria. These criteria outline the qualification requirements, age limits, and other essential factors for aspiring candidates.

Delhi ITI offers admission to 19 Government ITIs, providing a total of 11,336 seats across 54 different trades. These ITIs are affiliated with the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) and State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT). ITI Delhi Admission Form 2024 Apply Online :

– Visit Online Admission Portal “itidelhi.admissions.nic.in” and click on “New Candidate Registration.”
– Read and accept the “Candidate Consent.”
– Log in using the Application number, password, and Security Pin for returning candidates.
– Check and confirm details, then click “Final Submit.”
– Fill all required details by clicking on “Fill Application Form” button.
– Select “Not Applicable” for extra rows if subjects are not available.
– If subject not available, select “Other Subject” and input marks.
– Fill “Correspondence Address” accurately and click “Save and Next.”
– Upload all requested documents on the portal.
– If irrelevant documents are requested, write “NOT APPLICABLE” on a white sheet, scan, and upload as PDF.
– If a certificate is unavailable, upload an undertaking stating correct information and commitment to submit the certificate during admission.
– Click on “Choose file” to select and upload documents, fill document number, and upload all required documents.

RESERVATION/SEAT CONVERSION RULES :

– Vacant seats are converted according to seat conversion rules.
– Unclaimed OBC category seats become General category seats.
– Delhi SC/OBC status requires Delhi-issued caste certificates and listed caste.
– Candidate’s category depends on the jurisdiction of their caste certificate and qualifying state.
– Candidates with Delhi qualifying state but out-of-state category certificates are considered Delhi General.
– Dual category eligibility based on qualifying state of 8th and 10th class.
– SC/ST/OBC candidates with qualifications from other states are considered other state candidates.
– Non-creamy layer OBCs are eligible for reservation under OBC category.
– Reservation seats unfilled by SC/ST are transferred to General category.
– Unfilled EWS category seats become General category.
– EWS candidates need to submit income and asset certificates.
– Reserved quota excludes merit-based SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates.
– Cancelled category seats are available for the next round.
– Subcategory seats are converted to main categories if demand is low.
– Outside Delhi quota seats can transfer to Delhi and vice versa.
– Boys/girls seats can transfer if there’s a shortage of girls in Co-Ed sections.
– Delhi category reservation requires Delhi jurisdiction certificates.
– Divyang candidates need medical fitness certificates.
– Defense personnel quota needs certificates from Sainik Boards.
– 8th class pass candidates need school-certified certificates.
– NCC cadets prioritized based on certificate level.
– Staff wards quota requires certificates from relevant institutions.
– Delhi Police and Govt. of NCT employees’ wards need certificates from respective departments.
– Rural area candidates get a 5% weightage with certification from BDO.
– Gender information affects seat allotment, especially for Co-Ed ITIs.

Documents required at the time of registration :

– Category Certificate (if applicable): SC/ST/OBC+NCL/EWS certificate in PDF format.
– Sub Category Certificate (if applicable): J&K, NCC, Defense Personnel, Divyang (PWbD), Minority, Staff Ward, Delhi Government Employee in PDF format.
– Certificate from Delhi Government registered orphanage (if applicable).
– Certificate from BDO regarding school and residence of candidate located in rural area of Delhi (if applicable).
– Qualifying Certificate:
– 10th Class mark Sheet &/or Certificate showing complete details.
– 8th Class certificate &/or Mark Sheet (if 8th class marks are not filled, 8th class rank will based on 10th class marks).
– Certificate from Headmaster/Principal of school as per Annexure VIII (if applicable).
– Undertaking by Candidate (compulsory):
– Duly filled and signed undertaking as per Annexure XV of prospectus in candidate’s own handwriting, uploaded in PDF format.

ITI Delhi Admission 2024 STAGES OF ADMISSION REGISTRATION :

– Visit the online admission portal ( itidelhi.admissions.nic.in) and select “Fresh Candidate Registration Option.”
– Generate application number and password.
– Fill in required information.
– Upload all requested documents on the portal.
– If a document is not applicable, write “NOT APPLICABLE” on a white sheet, sign it, scan, and upload its PDF.
– If a certificate is unavailable for genuine reasons, upload an undertaking (as per annexure XVI of prospectus) stating reasons and commitment to submit the certificate during admission.
– ITI/DTTE will decide whether to accept the undertaking or raise objections.
– Pay the registration fee.

ITI Delhi Admission 2024 Choice Filling :

• Choice filling starts after document verification.
• Candidates fill ITI/Trade choices within the specified time.
• Prepare a preference list of trades/ITIs beforehand.
• Use the “Map with location” in the prospectus to determine ITI distances from residence.
• After filling choices, save them and then “Lock” them in the system.

ITI Delhi Admission 2024  Counselling :

For Candidates with No Seat Allotted :

• Check allotment result on the online portal.
• If no seat allotted, wait for the next counselling round.
• Reshuffle/fill/delete trade choices during specified dates.

For Candidates with Allotted Seats :

• Log into the portal to check seat allotment.
• Choose either freeze or upgrade preference online.
• Freeze: Accept the allotted seat for provisional admission.
• Upgrade: Opt for higher choice seats in the next counseling round.
• Physical Reporting:
  • Visit the allotted ITI for counseling on specified dates.
  • Schedule an appointment beforehand to avoid rush.
• Online Fee Submission :
  • Pay the admission fee after physical reporting.
  • If unable to report physically, the allotted seat gets cancelled, and fee non-refundable.
• Required Documents for Physical Reporting :
  • Seat Allotment letter and Provisional admission Slip.
  • Original certificates and self-attested photocopies.
  • Medical fitness certificate.
  • Prohibition of Ragging undertaking, Undertaking, and Character certificate.
  • Aadhar card of the candidate.
  • Three photos of the candidate.
