Steps to Apply Online For INSPIRE Award New School Registration 2024 :

Registration Process:

• Visit the INSPIRE Award Official Website : Access the website at inspireawards-dst.gov.in.
• One-Time Registration for School Authority : Click on the School Authority section and complete the one-time registration.
• Fill Registration Details : You will be redirected to the INSPIRE Award Registration URL. Enter all required details as prompted.
• Submit Registration : Click on the Submit button to finalize your registration.
• Approval Process : After submission, your application will be assigned an Application Number. The District Authority will review and approve your registration.
• Receive User ID and Password : Once approved, you will receive a User ID and Password for login purposes.

Submission of Student Ideas / Innovations:

• Login to School Authority Account : Visit the INSPIRE Award Official Website and log in using your User Name and Password.
• Access Student’s Ideas / Innovations Submission Link : Navigate to the designated link for uploading students’ ideas and innovations.

Checking Nominated Ideas /Innovations :

• Viewing Nominations : Log in to your School Authority account on the INSPIRE Award Official Website.
• Navigate to Award Sanction Information : Click on the “View Award Sanctioned by NA” icon.
• Access List of Awardees : Scroll to the bottom of the table and click on “List of Awardees” to view the nominated students’ ideas and innovations.

INSPIRE Award Eligibility (Who Can Participate?) :

Participant Criteria :

• Individual students from classes 6 to 10, regardless of whether they attend government, private, aided, or unaided schools.
• Students must be affiliated with any National or State Board.
• Submissions can be made in any of the 22 languages listed in the 8th Schedule of the Indian Constitution.

Shortlisting of Ideas	– NIF shortlists 1,00,000 ideas focusing on societal impact through Science & Technology.
Award Disbursement	– Shortlisted students receive INR 10,000 via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
District and State Level Competitions	– District Level Exhibition and Project Competition (DLEPC) organised locally.
	– Top 10,000 ideas advance to State Level Exhibition and Project Competitions (SLEPC).
State Level Exhibition	– SLEPC shortlists top 1,000 ideas for National Level Exhibition and Project Competition (NLEPC).
	– NIF provides mentoring for prototype development in collaboration with academic institutions.
Selection Criteria	– Criteria include novelty, social impact, environmental and user friendliness, and technological advantage.
National Level Competition	– NLEPC showcases 1,000 top ideas; top 60 innovations receive national awards.
