The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS) have launched the registration for their free 5-day online course on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). This short-term course, running from August 19 to August 23, 2024, aims to provide students with foundational knowledge in AI and ML. Targeted at professionals and students in geospatial and related fields, the course will cover essential concepts of AI, ML, and Deep Learning (DL). Participants will receive a ‘Course Participation Certificate’ upon completion.
The online course provided by ISRO is part of the IIRS Outreach Programme, which has significantly expanded since its inception in 2007. Originally involving only 12 universities and institutions, the programme now encompasses over 3,500 networked institutes. This extensive outreach benefits a wide array of participants, including central and state universities, private academic institutions, government departments, forest resource professionals, state forest departments, research institutes, geospatial industries, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
