How to Complete the CTET Application Form 2025 ?

Aspirants should follow these steps to successfully apply for the CTET exam:

1 : Register for the CTET Exam

• Visit the official website at ctet.nic.in.
• Click on the application form link.
• For new candidates, select the “Apply” button in the New Candidate Registration section.
• Read and download the information brochure, and check the box to confirm your understanding.
• Click “Click Here to Proceed.”
• Fill out the registration form with your personal details, including:
  • Name
  • Mother’s name
  • Father’s name
  • Identification type
  • Date of birth
  • Gender
  • Identification number
• Provide your contact information:
  • Complete address with pincode
  • Email ID
  • Mobile number
• Choose and confirm your password, including a security question and answer.
• Enter the security pin displayed on the screen.
• Verify all information and check the boxes at the end of the page.
• Click “Final Submit.”
• Make a note of the system-generated application number for future reference.

2 : Fill the Online CTET Form

• Click on “Complete Application Form.”
• Provide any remaining details, including:
  • Name
  • Mother’s name
  • Father’s name
  • Date of birth
  • Gender
  • Nationality
  • Category
  • PwD status
  • Language preferences (Language-1 and Language-2)
  • Employment status
  • Paper you are applying for

3 : Upload Required Documents

• Prepare your documents:
  • Ensure scanned images of your photograph and signature are in JPG format, following these specifications:
    • Photo: 10-200 KB, dimensions 3.5 x 4.5 cm
    • Signature: 4-30 KB, dimensions 3.5 x 1.5 cm
• Upload documents by entering the security pin and checking the box at the end of the page.
• Click “Upload.”

4 : Pay the Application Fee

• Select your payment option by clicking on “Pay Examination Fee.”
• Choose your payment method (online or real-time e-challan).
• Make your payment:
• Confirm your payment. Once successful, the CTET confirmation page will be generated.
• Print the confirmation page for your records.

CTET 2024 Eligibility Criteria :

For Classes 1-5 :

• Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with 50% marks and one of the following :
  • 2-year Diploma in Elementary
  • 4-year Bachelor of Elementary
  • 2-year Diploma in
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary
• Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with 45% marks :
  • 2-year Diploma in Elementary (as per NCTE Regulations 2002)

For Classes 6-8 :

• Graduation Degree and one of the following :
  • 2-year Diploma in Elementary
  • Bachelor in
  • Bachelor in with 40% marks (according to NCTE regulations)
  • Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary
  • B.A.Ed /B.Sc.Ed or B.A /B.Sc.Ed
  • Graduation Degree with 1-year B.Ed

CTET 2024 Key Dates :

CTET 2024 Admit Card :

• The admit card will be available around 2 days before the exam.

  • PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) : Rs. 48000 – Rs. 50000
