Crcs Sahara India Refund Portal [ Resubmission ] 

In a significant development, Union Minister of Home and Cooperation, Amit Shah, announced the introduction of the ‘CRCS Sahara Refund Portal’ on Tuesday, July 18th. This online platform aims to provide much-needed assistance to millions of depositors with funds stuck in Sahara Group. Through this initiative, depositors can initiate the process to reclaim their deposits, with an initial refund amount of Rs 10,000 per depositor.

The Sahara Group Refund Portal is designed to help depositors encountering challenges such as payment failures, financial irregularities, and regulatory non-compliance issues. This platform expedites the refund process by directly transferring funds to investors’ specified bank accounts, prioritising prompt and secure transactions. Emphasising transparency and accountability, it aims to rebuild trust and confidence in the financial sector. The CRCS Sahara Refund Portal signifies a proactive effort to address past grievances and foster an environment of trust and integrity in investment management.

Who are eligible for Crcs Sahara India Refund  ?

Eligibility for refund through the CRCS Sahara Refund Portal extends to genuine and legitimate depositors of four Sahara societies.

b. Humara India Credit Cooperative Society Limited in Kolkata.

c. Sahara Credit Cooperative Society Limited in Lucknow.

d. Saharayan Universal Multipurpose Society Limited in Bhopal.

e. Stars Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited in Hyderabad.

Crcs Sahara India Registration :

1. Visit the Home Page of CRCS Sahara Refund Portal at mocrefund.crcs.gov.in.
2. Click on ‘Depositor Registration.’
3. Fill in accurate details such as the last 4 digits of your Aadhaar Card and the mobile number linked with Aadhaar on the Registration Page.
4. Click on ‘Get OTP’ and enter the OTP received on your mobile number.
5. After entering the OTP, click on ‘Verify OTP’ to complete the mandatory registration process.

Applying for Sahara Refund Portal :

• Access the CRCS Sahara Refund Portal.
• Provide your 12-digit Membership Number, the last 4 digits of your Aadhaar Number, your 10-digit Aadhaar-linked Mobile Number, and the Captcha. Then click “Get OTP.”
• Enter the received OTP to proceed.
• Upon logging in, follow the prompted steps to give your consent via Aadhaar.
• Accept the terms and conditions by clicking “I agree” on the subsequent page.
• Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar Number and click “Get OTP.”
• Verify the OTP by entering it and clicking “Verify OTP.”
• Your Aadhaar user details will be displayed after OTP verification.
• Enter the details from your Certificate of Deposit.
• Click “Submit Claim” to review all entered details.
• Once all claim details are confirmed, the pre-filled claim request form will be generated. Ensure all necessary claims are entered as changes cannot be made later.
• Affix your latest photograph and sign the claim form along with the photograph.
• Upload the claim form and a copy of your PAN card on the “Upload Document” screen. (PAN card is mandatory for claims amounting to Rs50,000 or more)

Documents Required for Crcs Sahara India Refund :

• The Ministry specifies that documents must be uploaded in grayscale or colour scale and vertically aligned.
• Document size limitations are set as follows :
  • Deposit Certificate / Passbook : Up to 200KB
  • Completed pre-filled and executed Claim Application Form : Up to 2 MB
  • PAN Card : Up to 50 KB

Sahara investors Refund Time :

i. According to Amit Shah, Sahara investors can expect to receive their refunds within 45 days.

ii. After submitting their applications, the Sahara group committee will verify the details within 30 days.

iii. Within the next 15 days, or within 45 days of application submission, investors will receive notification via SMS or the website.

iv. The refunded amount will be directly credited to the depositor’s Aadhaar-seeded bank account after the 45-day period from the successful claim submission date.
