CAIIB registration in 2024 :

CIIAB Exam Eligibility Criteria :

Candidates must have successfully completed either the JAIIB or PART 1 of the Associate Examination. Additionally, their membership subscription must up to date without any outstanding arrears.

Examination Fees :

To manage registration traffic efficiently, the Institute will levy the standard examination fee during the first week. During the second and third weeks, an additional Rs. 100 will charged. In the fourth week, the fee will include an extra Rs. 200. If registration extends beyond four weeks, the fee for the extended period will the standard fee plus Rs. 200. Once paid, the fee is non-refundable and non-adjustable.

Criteria for Passing :

1. The minimum passing score for each subject is 50 out of 100.
2. Candidates who achieve at least 45 marks in each subject and obtain an aggregate of 50% marks across all subjects in a single attempt will also considered as having cleared the Examination.
3. Candidates may keep the credits for the subjects they have passed in an attempt until the expiration of the time limit for completing the examination, as indicated below:

• The examination will conducted exclusively in Online Mode.
• Wrong answers will not incur any negative marking penalty.

JIIAB Eligibility Criteria :

• The examination is exclusively available to ordinary members of the Institute. Individuals employed in the banking and finance sector whose employer is an Institutional member of the Institute are eligible to apply for membership. Further details can found on the IIBF website.
• Candidates should have successfully completed the 12th standard examination in any field or its equivalent. However, the Institute reserves the right to permit candidates from the clerical or supervisory staff cadre of banks to take the exam upon the recommendation of the bank’s Manager or officer-in-charge, even if they have not passed the 12th standard or its equivalent.
• Subordinate staff of recognised Banking / Financial Institutions in India, who are members of the Institute, are eligible to take the examination if they have passed the 12th standard examination

Exam Registration :

• Candidates with remaining attempts under the old syllabi, upon applying for the first time under the revised syllabi, will given the choice to:
  • Retain credits for passed subjects and utilise remaining attempts to complete the exam, adhering to the time-limit rule.
  • Forgo credits for passed subjects/balance attempts and start fresh.
• This option can only exercised once when the candidate applies/registers for the first time under the revised syllabi.
