The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, has launched a new initiative called Ayushman Card Status Check 2024, aimed at providing medical facilities to low-income groups or EWS category citizens. Applicants of the Ayushman Card, issued under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana 2024, can now check their status on beneficiary.nha.gov.in.

The distribution of these cards to eligible applicants has commenced today. Citizens from minority groups interested in availing free medical services can follow the complete process for checking their Ayushman Card Beneficiary Status on pmjay.gov.in. The Ayushman Bharat Yojana, also known as the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Scheme, is a critical initiative by the Indian government, recognized as one of the largest healthcare schemes globally. It aims to provide government assistance in medical services to families below the poverty line, and includes the issuance of Abha cards to all citizens.

You can also download your Ayushman Card through an alternative process outlined below:

• Visit the BIS PMJAY Portal.
• Log in using your mobile number and captcha code.
• Click on the “Download Ayushman Card” link.
• On the next page, search for your Ayushman Card using the scheme name, state name, and Aadhaar number.
• Download your Ayushman Card.

Apply for Ayushman Card :

To apply for the Ayushman Card, follow these steps:

• Go to the Beneficiary NHA official website.
• Log in using your mobile number and OTP on the home page.
• Select your state, district, scheme name, etc., on the next page.
• If you want to apply for yourself or your family, choose “Family ID/Aadhar number/PMJAY ID” under the “Search By” option.
• If applying for another person without full details, choose between “Location – Rural” or “Location – Urban.”
• Enter the information as per the selected option and click on the “Search” icon.
• A list of eligible individuals will appear.
• For those with “Not-Generated” status under “Card Status,” click the card icon in the “Action” section to generate the card.
• Complete KYC with Aadhaar OTP for the individual, upload a recent photo, and provide details such as mobile number, religion, date of birth, pin code, district, and village.
• Submit the form after entering all the information correctly.
