The APOSS (Andhra Pradesh Open School Society) had announced the results for APOSS 10th and Inter exams 2024 on April 25. Candidates who took the AP open school examinations for Classes 10 and 12 can access their APOSS Inter results 2024 and Open 10th results 2024 via the official website, apopenschool.ap.gov.in. To view the AP Open School results 2024, students will require their admission number or roll number. Andhra Pradesh Open School Society (APOSS) :

APOSS was established as an autonomous society under the Andhra Pradesh Public Societies Act on February 20, 1991.
It holds the distinction of being the first State Open School in India.

Objectives at Inception :

To provide pre-elementary through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode to School drop-outs and those who missed the Upper Primary stage of education, aiming at Universalization of Elementary (UEE) in the State.
To offer continuing education for adult neo-literates, working individuals, reinforcing functional literacy and preventing relapse into illiteracy.

Mission of APOSS :

APOSS aims to provide opportunities for continuing education to individuals who missed completing school education and development education.
It also extends its services to other children and individuals interested in pursuing school-level education through open and distance learning (ODL) mode, offering courses and programs in general education, life enrichment, and vocational education up to pre-degree level.

Eligibility for SSC (Secondary School ) :

Students should be at least 14 years old.
They should possess one of the following:
- Birth Certificate issued by the Municipal Office.
- Transfer Certificate (TC) in the case of discontinuation at the school stage.

Eligibility for Intermediate (10+2) :

Students should have passed SSC or its equivalent, or be Intermediate dropouts.
To complete Intermediate in one year, there should be a one-year gap after SSC (10th).

Certification :

Certificates issued by APOSS are considered equivalent to SSC/Intermediate levels and are valid for higher education as well as government jobs.

Locate and click on the ‘Results of Intermediate (APOSS) Public Examinations, March-2024’ link on the homepage.
Enter either the admission number or roll number.
Click the ‘submit’ button.
The APOSS Inter Result 2024 will be displayed on the screen.
Download the result and retain a printed copy for future reference.

Look for the ‘Results of SSC(APOSS) Public Examinations, March-2024’ link on the homepage.
Enter the admission number or roll number in the provided space.

National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test’ (NEET UG) :

Candidates who have completed their Intermediate (10+2) through APOSS are not eligible to appear for the ‘National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test’ (NEET UG). Additionally, studying Biology / Biotechnology as an additional subject at the 10+2 level is also not permissible for NEET UG eligibility.

AP Open Inter Admission Process :

Accredited Institution (AI) Capacity :
- Each accredited institution (AI) can admit a maximum of 200 learners for Intermediate.
- Candidates who have passed the SSC / Secondary course or failed in the Intermediate/XII Class from other Boards are eligible to join Intermediate.
Science Subject Combinations :
- Science candidates must enroll in Junior Colleges only.
- The maximum intake for Science subject combinations at an AI center is 80 learners.
Admission Procedure :
- Admission of learners will be facilitated through Accredited Institutions (AIs).

Navigate to the “Admissions” tab.
Click on the “APOSS Inter Admission 2024” link.
Complete the application form and upload the necessary documents.
Pay the application fee.

APOSS Inter graduates who have obtained 50% marks for General candidates and 45% marks for SC/ST/PHC candidates are eligible to appear for the DEECET exam.

Instructions:

Date of Birth once provided in the admission form cannot be changed for any reason.
Learners who have previously enrolled in Elementary/U.P/Higher/High Schools and dropouts must submit their Transfer Certificate (T.C)/Record Sheet.
Date of Birth certificates will not be accepted from learners who have previously attended school; only learners who have never been enrolled in school should provide their Date of Birth.
If any learner is found to have hidden their school study information and submitted a Date of Birth proof instead of a T.C./Record Sheet, their performance will be cancelled without prior notice.

Entry Requirements for Intermediate Level :

i. Minimum Age Requirement:

Candidates must be at least 15 years old as of August 31st of the registration year.
The original Certificate of Matriculation/Secondary Examination, containing the Date of Birth, along with two attested photocopies, must be provided as supporting documents.

ii. Minimum al Qualifications:

Candidates must have passed the S.S.C. examination from a recognized board.

iii. Proof of Residence in Telangana:

If the candidate has passed the SSC examination from another state/country, proof of residence must be provided for learners from other states / countries.

Previous Year Statistics :

Last year, a total of 31,623 students appeared for the SSC exams, with 7,619 candidates passing. The overall pass percentage for APOSS 10th exams was 57.20%. For AP Open School Inter exams, 69,617 candidates sat for the exam, out of which 40,919 qualified, resulting in an Intermediate pass percentage
