The Ministry of and the Government of India have introduced the APAAR ID card in line with the National Policy (NEP) 2020. This initiative aims to create unique ID numbers for school students across India. The APAAR ID, also referred to as the ‘One Nation One Student ID Card’, will benefit all students by digitally consolidating their complete academic data, including rewards, degrees, scholarships, and other credits, into a single, transferable ID.

The APAAR ID Card for 2024 has introduced by the Ministry of for students nationwide, under the initiative known as “One Nation One Student ID”. Online applications are currently available.

APAAR ID Registration Online :

• To register for APAAR ID online, students need a valid Aadhaar card and must create a DigiLocker account for e-KYC purposes.
• Schools and colleges should initiate APAAR ID registration only after obtaining parental consent, which can withdrawn at any time.
• Parents receive a format form from schools to fill out and submit for consent.
• Once parental consent is obtained, schools will proceed to create the APAAR ID card for students.
• The registration process involves visiting the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC Bank) website.
• Select the ‘My Account’ option and choose ‘Student’ to begin the registration.
• Click on ‘Sign up’ and enter mobile, address, and Aadhaar card details to set up a DigiLocker account.
• Log in to DigiLocker using the created credentials and agree to share Aadhaar card details with ABC for KYC verification.
• Input academic details such as school or university name, class, and course name.
• Submit the form, after which the APAAR ID card will generated for the student.

APAAR ID Card Download :

• Access the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC Bank) website and log in.
• Navigate to the dashboard and find the ‘APAAR card download’ option.
• Select the option to view the APAAR card on the screen.
• Choose the download or print option provided.
• The APAAR card will downloaded to your device.

ID Registration By Digilocker :

• Students can access Digilocker using their mobile number or Aadhaar number.
• Navigate to ‘Search Documents’ and select ‘ABC ID’ under the Academic Bank of Credits service in the category.
• Verify the details and click on ‘Get Document’ to proceed.
• Your APAAR card will issued. You can download the APAAR ID PDF by clicking on the download button provided next to the card.
