  • Seats are allocated based on the candidate’s preferences and availability in their local area, category, and gender.

  • It is advised not to include options for colleges or courses the candidate is not interested in.

Exercising Options Online :

Step 1 : Enter URL

• Open Internet Explorer or Google Chrome.
• Ensure the computer has Windows 7 and Internet Explorer version 9.0 or above.
• Go to apicet.nic.in.
• The homepage will display links for course lists, college lists, helpline centers, and college profiles.

Step 2 : Generate Password

• Click on “Candidates Registration” to generate a password.
• Enter details such as Registration Number, Rank, Hall Ticket Number, and Date of Birth in DD/MM/YYYY format.
• Click “Generate Password.”
• Create a password (8-10 characters, including at least one numerical) and re-enter it for confirmation.
• Enter the mobile number provided during certificate verification.
• Click “Save Password” and then “Logout” to complete registration.

3rd Step : Option Entry

• Log in using the ID and password received via SMS.
• If you did not receive the login ID, send an SMS to 8790499899 with the format APICET01 (Hall Ticket Number).
• Enter the Login ID, Hall Ticket Number, Password, and Date of Birth to sign in.
• For help, click on “Help Screen” for explanations about menu options.
• Select districts and display colleges.
• Enter option numbers on the screen as per the manual option form.
• Click “Display Option Entry Form” to see available options.

Step 4 : Logout

• Click “Logout” to save options.
• You will see options to “Save and Logout,” “Confirm Logout,” and “Cancel Logout.”
• Choose “Save & Logout” to save your options.
• Click “Confirm Logout” to finalize and view saved options.
• “Cancel Logout” retains the option entry form for further edits.

Final Allotment of Seats :
