This notification is intended for students aspiring to enroll in AP Gurukulams. To participate, students must apply online exclusively through the provided mode. This year, the BRAGCET 2024 notification has been issued by the AP Social Welfare Gurukul Vidyalaya Society.

The AP Gurukulam CET will facilitate admissions for 5th Class in BR Ambedkar Gurukulams. Consequently, a dedicated entrance examination will conducted specifically for AP Social Welfare Residential Schools. How to Submit Applications ?
  • Online Application :
    • Apply online through the website apgpcet.apcfss.in.
    • Applications can also submitted at any internet center or help desk of APSWR / AptWR / APREI / MJPAPBCWR Institutions.
    • Clearly mention the preferred school (APSWR /APTWR /APREIS /MJPAPBCWR) during application submission.
    • No registration fee is required for application submission.
  • Application Details :
    • Clearly indicate the preferred school in the online application.
    • Ensure accuracy in all entries as no corrections will entertained once Hall Tickets are generated.

APGPCET Hall Ticket :
  • After submitting the application, applicants can print their Hall Ticket, which must produced at the examination center for personal identification.
Selection Procedure :
  1. Merit-Based Admission:
    • Admission will granted based on the merit obtained in APGPCET 2024.
    • District-wise Merit Lists will prepared separately for boys and girls.
    • Seats will allotted according to merit and the school chosen by the student.
    • Students can opt for more than one school based on preference.
  2. Criteria for Same Rank:
    • If multiple candidates secure the same rank, priority will given based on age.
    • If age is also the same, priority will based on higher marks in Maths.
    • If age and Maths marks are identical, marks obtained in Environmental Science will considered.

III. MJPAP BC School Admissions :
  • Admission for V Class in 61 MJPAP BC Schools throughout Andhra Pradesh.

    • For BC Residential Schools:

Written Test :
  • The written test will held at the district level for 5th Class & backlog vacancies in other classes if any.
  • The conduct of the written test is under the jurisdiction of the Project Officers of ITDA Districts and Joint Collectors in Non-ITDA Districts.
Final Selected Lists ( Merit List ) :
  • The Merit list will prepared Class wise, Community wise (ST, SC, BC, OC, PHC, AEQ etc.).
  • The finalized lists will displayed on the notice boards of all Residential Schools at the Office of the Project Officer / Collector & DTWO.
  • The selection process based on the written test’s merit basis will overseen by Gurukulam.
Instructions for admission to Ap Gurukulam :
  • Written tests will take place in 31 General ST Residential Schools on the proposed date.
  • Students will selected randomly based on written test performance and merit.
  • The selection process will transparent, conducted in the presence of committee members.
  • Selected students will allocated to schools according to their preferences.
  • No consideration of merit or screening process is allowed for primary classes due to the Right to Act, 2009.
  • The entire selection process will recorded on video.
  • The Convener Principal will submit the admissions process file to the Admissions Committee Chairperson for approval.
  • 5th class is the entry point for General ST Schools for the academic year 2024-25.
  • Applications will only accepted online through aptwqurukulam.ap.gov.in.
  • The Convener Principal, in coordination with the Gurukulam Cell in-charge, will prepare class, category, and gender-wise lists for the written test.
  • Caste-wise lists of selected students based on written test merit will prepared.
  • The list of selected candidates will displayed on notice boards and informed through call letters/phone calls for admissions.
  • Only online applicants will allowed to participate in the written test; offline applicants will not permitted.
