The AFCAT 2 2024 registration process is now open. Candidates can apply online at afcat.cdac.in until the last date, 28th June 2024. The official notification and application details, including the fee structure for male and female applicants, are available for download in PDF format.

How to Apply ?
- Visit careerindianairforce.cdac.in or afcat.cdac.in for online application.
- Aadhaar Card is mandatory for registration.
- Carefully fill in the online application; incorrect information can lead to cancellation.
- Only the latest application against an Aadhaar Number will be considered.
- Complete the online application process which includes:
- Candidate login and registration.
- Selection of entry (AFCAT, NCC Special Entry for Flying Branch).
- Read and acknowledge instructions.
- Fill in personal details, qualification details, course preference, and communication details.
- Upload recent photo, signature, and thumb impression.
- Select exam city.
- Make online payment (applicable only for AFCAT).
- Check payment status to ensure successful transaction.
Examination Fee for AFCAT Entry :
After completing the online application form, an examination fee of ₹550/- plus GST (non-refundable) for AFCAT entry must be paid online via the ‘Make Payment’ step on the main menu of the online application. This fee is not applicable for NCC special entry.
Eligibility Conditions :
Nationality : Candidate must be a citizen of India as per Indian Citizenship Act, 1955.
Age :
- Flying Branch through AFCAT and NCC Special Entry :
- 20 to 24 years as on 01 January 2025 (born between 02 January 2001 to 01 January 2005).
- Upper age limit for candidates with valid Commercial Pilot License: up to 26 years (born between 02 January 1999 to 01 January 2005).
- Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) Branch :
- 20 to 26 years as on 01 January 2025 (born between 02 January 1999 to 01 January 2005).
- Marital Status :
- Must be unmarried at the time of course commencement.
- Marriage not permitted during training; marrying during training leads to discharge and repayment of training costs.
- Date of Birth Documentation :
- Accepted: Matriculation or Secondary School Leaving Certificate, or equivalent certificates recognized by an Indian .
- Not accepted: Horoscopes, affidavits, birth extracts from Municipal Corporation, service records, and similar documents.
- Date of Birth Accuracy :
- If Matriculation / Higher Secondary Certificate does not show date of birth, a certificate from the Headmaster/ Principal showing date of birth or exact age as per Admission Register is required.
- Only the Date of Birth recorded in the Matriculation / Higher Secondary Examination Certificate at the time of application submission is accepted.
- Any discrepancy in Date of Birth at any stage of verification will lead to disqualification. No representations for changes will be entertained.

Instructions for e-Admit Card and AFCAT Written Examination :
e-Admit Card Issuance : Eligible candidates who successfully submit their online application will receive an e-Admit Card two weeks before the exam date. It will be sent to registered email IDs and can also be downloaded from careerindianairforce.cdac.in. No Admit Cards will be sent by post. Candidates need their Username and Password to download it.
