Details of YSR Rythu Bharosa / PM Kisan Scheme :
Introduction :

The Rythu Bharosa Scheme, launched by the Government of Andhra Pradesh in June 2019, is a welfare initiative aimed at supporting farmers by providing financial assistance.

Implementation :

Successfully initiated by the current government in July 2019, the scheme was first implemented on October 15, 2019.

Financial Assistance :

Under this scheme, eligible farmers receive an annual financial aid of Rs. 13,500. Of this amount, Rs. 7,500 is provided by the state government, while Rs. 6,000 is contributed by the central government through the Prime Minister’s Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme.

Additional Benefits :

In addition to financial aid, the scheme offers free borewells and zero-interest loans to eligible farmers.

Mode of Assistance :

Financial assistance is directly transferred to the bank accounts of beneficiaries. This state-level welfare initiative aims to support farmers, including those eligible for zero-interest loans.

Inclusions :

Row farmers and tenant farmers are also covered under this scheme, receiving Rs. 2,500 annually.

Other Provisions :

The scheme includes provisions for free borewell facilities, nine hours of free electricity daily, and the establishment of cold storage units. However, road tax on farmers’ tractors is not covered.

Insurance Coverage :

Eligibility Criteria :

To qualify for the scheme, applicants must be permanent residents of Andhra Pradesh engaged in agriculture. Small, marginal, or tenant farmers are also eligible, provided they own at least 5 acres of cultivated land.

  • Step 1 : Review the provided steps and access the designated link.
  • Step 2: Input your 12-digit Aadhaar number in the specified field labeled ‘Aadhaar number’. Ensure that you enter the Aadhaar number associated with the Rythu Bharosa registration.
  • Step 3: Click on the ‘Submit’ button adjacent to the Aadhaar number field.
  • Step 4: Upon submission, you will be presented with details including the beneficiary’s name, status, and the deposited amount in the designated bank account. If the payment has been successfully deposited into your account, the status will indicate ‘Payment Success’.

Notes : Ysr Cheyutha Payment

  • If the payment fails, the status will reflect ‘Fail’, along with remarks explaining the reason for the failure.
  • For members of the beneficiary’s family, entering their Aadhaar number will display ‘Belongs to Beneficiary Family’.
  • Additionally, the system will display the amount deposited in the family member’s account and the total amount deposited.
YSR Rythu Bharosa Scheme :

Under the YSR Rythu Bharosa Scheme, the YSRCP pledges to extend monetary aid of Rs. 50,000 to farmers in Andhra Pradesh. Commencing from the second year onwards, every farmer family will receive Rs. 12,500 annually as part of the AP YSR Rythu Bharosa Scheme. Furthermore, the Andhra Pradesh government will furnish zero-interest loans and complimentary borewells to farmers. Additionally, each constituency will witness the establishment of cold storage and food processing units.

The YSRCP pledges to provide financial aid of Rs. 50,000 to farmers residing in Andhra Pradesh.
