• Millers must provide a 10% guarantee on the acquisition cost of free paddy over 3,000 MTs (up from 5% for 5,000 MTs last year).
• Millers must buy at least 150 MTs of paddy or deposit Rs 5 lakh (non-refundable) in state treasury and Rs 5 lakh as refundable security online.

Custom Milling Security Measures :

• RO paddy will be included in the custom milling security.
• Millers must pay Rs 125 for each MT of paddy stored, including RO paddy.
• New mills or those upgrading must install dryers and sortex machines.
• Aim to finish custom milling and deliver rice to the Food Corporation of India by the specified date.
