The SSC GD 2025 Notification was announced on September 5, 2024, on the official website ssc.gov.in, with 39,481 positions available. This recruitment targets Constables (GD) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF, Riflemen (GD) in the Assam Rifles, and Sepoys in the Narcotics Control Bureau.

Online applications for SSC GD 2025 are accepted from September 5 to October 14, 2024.  A preliminary state-wise vacancy list has been shared, with a final list to released during the exam.

The tentative state-wise vacancy list for SSC GD 2025 was released on September 6, 2024. The final vacancy list will published during the exam process. In comparison, the SSC GD Constable 2024 exam aims to fill 46,617 positions, including 41,467 for males and 5,150 for females. How to Apply for SSC GD 2024 ?

1. One-Time Registration (OTR) :

• Create your OTR on the new SSC website at ssc.gov.in.
• OTR from the old site at ssc.nic.in is not accepted.
• Your OTR will valid for all future exams on the new site.

2. Online Application :

• Applications must submitted via ssc.gov.in.
• Check Annexures I & II for detailed instructions.
• Sample forms can found in Annexures IA & IIA.

3. Photograph :

• No existing photo is needed; a live photo must taken through the application.
• Use good lighting, a plain background, and position the camera at eye level.
• Follow the guidelines to ensure your face fits within the red rectangular area.
• Do not wear caps, masks, glasses, or earphones.

4. Photograph Requirements :

• The photo must reflect your appearance on exam day.
• Ensure it is clear and taken from the front.
• Non-compliant photos will rejected.

6. Signature :

• Upload a scanned signature in .JPEG or .JPG format (10-20 KB).
• Signature dimensions should 6.0 cm (width) x 2.0 cm (height) at 300 DPI.
• Keep the signature horizontal and avoid small sizes.

7. Submission Deadline :

• The online application will close on October 14, 2024, at 23:00.
• Submit early to prevent issues from high website traffic.

8. Final Checks :

• Use the ‘Preview/Print Option’ to confirm details before submission.
• Check that your photograph and signature meet the requirements.
• Keep a copy of the final submitted form.

• Required : Must have completed Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board/ by January 1, 2025.
• Candidates lacking necessary qualifications by the cut-off date are ineligible.
• Open and Distance Learning Degrees : Accepted from recognized institutions if approved by the Distance Bureau, Grants Commission; proof must shown during Document Verification.
• Document Verification : Original certificates (Marksheets, Provisional Certificates) must confirm Matriculation completion by or before January 1, 2025. Results must finalized by the cut-off date, and processing alone is not adequate.

Correction Window for Online Application Form :

Timeline for Correction : (05-11-2024 to 07-11-2024, 23:00 Hours) :

Candidates can modify and re-submit their application within 3 days after the closing date.

Number of Corrections :

• Up to 2 corrections are allowed.
• No further changes can made after the second submission.

Eligibility:

• Applicable only for applications with payment made within the specified period.

Correction Charges:

• First correction: ₹200
• Second correction: ₹500
• These charges are non-refundable and non-adjustable.
• Payment methods include BHIM UPI, Net Banking, Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, and RuPay Debit cards.

Processing:

• The latest corrected form will accepted as valid.
• Previous submissions will canceled.

Incomplete Forms:

• Forms without correction charges will labeled as ‘Incomplete’.
• Prior submissions will remain valid.

Final Submission:

• Verify all information before final submission.
• No changes will permitted after the correction window closes.
• Requests for changes after the window will not accepted.

• Certificate for Height / Chest Measurement Relaxation : As per Annexure-IX of the Notice.
• Certificate from District Collector / Magistrate : For dependents of riot victims listed in categories 4/5/6 under Para 5.1 of the Notice.
• Nativity / Identity Certificate : For West Pakistani Refugees, in the format specified in Annexure-XIII.
