The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release the GD Constable 2025 Notification on September 5, 2024. As per the SSC’s official exam schedule, the application period for the SSC GD 2025 will from September 5 to October 5, 2024. This notification is anticipated to reveal more than 50,000 job openings for Constable General Duty (GD) and Rifleman GD roles. The recruitment process for SSC GD 2025 will begin with the official notification and the application form. Initially set for August 27, 2024, the notification has now moved to September 5, 2024. Candidates can access the application form online at ssc.gov.in starting September 5, 2024. 

The SSC GD Constable exam is conducted every year at the national level to select candidates for Constable (GD) and Rifleman (GD) positions within the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). The recruitment process for the Constable (GD) and Rifleman (GD) positions for 2025 will involve a Computer-Based Exam (CBE), a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) or Physical Standard Test (PST), and a Detailed Medical Exam (DME) or Document Verification (DV). Candidates must register online through the SSC GD Constable Apply Online 2025 link to participate in the exam.

SSC GD Constable 2025 – Selection Process :

The recruitment for SSC GD Constable 2025 will take place in three stages: 

• Computer-Based Exam (CBE): The first step is an online test for initial screening. 
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST): Candidates who pass the CBE will undergo physical tests to evaluate their fitness and measurements. 
• Detailed Medical Exam (DME)/Document Verification (DV): The final selection will include a medical examination and document verification.

SSC GD Constable Salary 2025 :

• Sepoy in NCB: Pay Level 1 (INR 18,000 to INR 56,900) 
• All Other Posts: Pay Level 3 (INR 21,700 to INR 69,100)

SSC GD 2024 Physical Measurement Test (PMT) :

Eligibility: Candidates who pass the SSC GD CBT 2025 must succeed in both the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) to selected.
