They have created a simple ranking system to evaluate schools based on their dedication to promoting fitness for students and teachers, as well as the access to fitness facilities. The Fit India School Rating indicates how much a school values fitness and the resources it offers for physical activities.

Fit India Program Portal Registration and Login (2024) :

To register or log into the Fit India Program portal in 2024, follow these simple steps :

1. Access the Portal : Go to the official Fit India Mission website at fitindia.gov.in.
2. Registration :

• Find the Registration Section : On the homepage or in the navigation menu, look for “Register” or “Sign Up.”
• Fill in Required Details : Provide your personal information, such as your name, email address, mobile number, and any other necessary details.
• Create Login Credentials : Choose a username and password for future access.
• Verify Your Email /Mobile Number : You might receive a verification link or code. Follow the instructions to confirm your contact information.

Fit India School Parameters – General Requirements :

• A trained Physical Teacher who actively participates in physical activities must present.
• A playground suitable for at least two outdoor sports is required.
• Every class should include a daily Physical period.
• Physical activities like sports, dance, and games must take place during class time.
• A minimum of 60 minutes should dedicated to physical activities each day.

(A) Fit India 3-Star Rating :

• Physical activity teachers need to fit and engage in physical activities for at least 60 minutes daily.
• At least two trained teachers must present, including one Physical Teacher.
• Each student should learn and engage in two sports, with one being a traditional or local game.

(B) Fit India 5-Star Rating :

• The school must hold monthly intra-school sports competitions, take part in inter-school camps, and celebrate an Annual Sports Day.
• All teachers involved in physical education must have proper training.
• The school should have at least two sports coaches.
• A structured physical education curriculum recommended by NCERT or the relevant Board must followed.
• An Annual Fitness Assessment for every student is required.
• The playground(s) should accessible to the local community after school hours, with a reasonable fee for maintenance and security if necessary.

Procedure for Schools to Obtain Fit India Star Rating :

• Schools need to register themselves online at fitindia.gov.in for certification.
• After registration, an online certificate will provided, allowing the use of the Fit India Logo and Flag.
• The Fit India Mission will verify the registration and issue an online Certificate and Commendation Letter, with a hard copy sent by post.
• Schools achieving Fit India 5-Star status may considered for the PM’s Award and recognized during Republic Day and Independence Day events at the state level.

How to Download Your Fit India Pledge Certificate ?

• Visit the official website at fitindia.gov.in.
• Look for the section or tab related to the Fit India Pledge or Certificates on the homepage, usually under “Fit India Pledge” or “Get Your Certificate.”
• Log in with your credentials. If you haven’t registered, you will need to create an account or provide your details.
• Find the option to download or view your Fit India Pledge Certificate. Some personal information may required.
• Click the download button or link to save the certificate to your device in an easily accessible format like PDF.
• After downloading, print the certificate if necessary or keep it saved for your records.

How to Receive Your Fit India Pledge Certificate via Email or Mobile ?

• Go to the Fit India Mission website at fitindia.gov.in.
• Search for the “Fit India Pledge” section on the homepage or navigation menu.
• If not logged in, enter your credentials or register if needed.
• Provide necessary information to access or receive your certificate, including your name, email address, mobile number, or pledge details.
• Look for an option to request your certificate via email or mobile, such as “Send to Email” or “Send to Mobile.”
