Seva (Sewa) Setu Portal Employment Exchange Re Registration 2024

In Assam, many government job positions at Grade C and Grade D levels require applicants to furnish an Employment Exchange Registration Certificate. This document is vital for applying to state government jobs. Recently, the Department of Skill, Employment and Entrepreneurship, Assam, led by Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, has digitised the entire process of obtaining this certificate. Formerly conducted offline, the registration process shifted entirely online from September 27, 2021.

This digital transformation eliminates the need for in-person visits to employment exchanges, allowing candidates to register and receive their certificates conveniently from any location within Assam. Led by Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, the Assam government has undertaken several proactive measures, including this digitalisation initiative. The introduction of online registration marks a significant and positive stride by the Assam government, reducing the need for physical visits to employment exchanges and enabling candidates to obtain their certificates conveniently from anywhere.
