The Minister has stated that by the end of 2024, the residential satisfaction ratio for CAPF personnel will be improved to approximately 74%. Through the CAPF eAwas Portal, CAPF personnel will have the ability to find available housing not only within their own force but also from other forces. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has launched a new portal called CAPF eAwas Portal for CAPF personnel. According to this portal, by the end of 2024, approximately 74% of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) personnel will achieve residential satisfaction. Current statistics indicate that about 19% of CAPF housing is vacant. With the help of the CAPF eAwas Portal, personnel from one force can find available housing from another force. The government has successfully increased housing satisfaction for CAPF personnel by 13%. Additionally, the CAPF Housing Allocation Policy has revised, allowing a vacant house of one personnel to be allocated to another interested personnel.

Increase in Housing Satisfaction Ratio :
- Central Minister Amit Shah has stated that since Prime Minister Narendra Modi took office in 2014, various schemes have initiated to increase the housing satisfaction ratio for personnel in the department.
- The government has worked on several initiatives, resulting in an increase from 33-34% in housing satisfaction ratio in 2014 to 48%.
