The SSC GD 2025 Notification was announced on September 5, 2024, on the official website ssc.gov.in, with 39,481 positions available. This recruitment targets Constables (GD) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF, Riflemen (GD) in the Assam Rifles, and Sepoys in the Narcotics Control Bureau.

Online applications for SSC GD 2025 are accepted from September 5 to October 14, 2024.  A preliminary state-wise vacancy list has been shared, with a final list to released during the exam.

How to Apply for SSC GD 2024 ?

1. One-Time Registration (OTR) :
  • Create your OTR on the new SSC website at ssc.gov.in.
  • OTR from the old site at ssc.nic.in is not accepted.
  • Your OTR will valid for all future exams on the new site.
2. Online Application :
  • Applications must submitted via ssc.gov.in.
  • Check Annexures I & II for detailed instructions.
  • Sample forms can found in Annexures IA & IIA.
3. Photograph :
  • No existing photo is needed; a live photo must taken through the application.
  • Use good lighting, a plain background, and position the camera at eye level.
  • Follow the guidelines to ensure your face fits within the red rectangular area.
  • Do not wear caps, masks, glasses, or earphones.
4. Photograph Requirements :
  • The photo must reflect your appearance on exam day.
  • Ensure it is clear and taken from the front.
  • Non-compliant photos will rejected.
6. Signature :
  • Upload a scanned signature in .JPEG or .JPG format (10-20 KB).
  • Signature dimensions should 6.0 cm (width) x 2.0 cm (height) at 300 DPI.
  • Keep the signature horizontal and avoid small sizes.
7. Submission Deadline :
  • The online application will close on October 14, 2024, at 23:00.
