How to Apply for SSC GD 2024 ?
1. One-Time Registration (OTR) :
- Create your OTR on the new SSC website at ssc.gov.in.
- OTR from the old site at ssc.nic.in is not accepted.
- Your OTR will valid for all future exams on the new site.
2. Online Application :
- Applications must submitted via ssc.gov.in.
- Check Annexures I & II for detailed instructions.
- Sample forms can found in Annexures IA & IIA.
3. Photograph :
- No existing photo is needed; a live photo must taken through the application.
- Use good lighting, a plain background, and position the camera at eye level.
- Follow the guidelines to ensure your face fits within the red rectangular area.
- Do not wear caps, masks, glasses, or earphones.
4. Photograph Requirements :
- The photo must reflect your appearance on exam day.
- Ensure it is clear and taken from the front.
- Non-compliant photos will rejected.
6. Signature :
- Upload a scanned signature in .JPEG or .JPG format (10-20 KB).
- Signature dimensions should 6.0 cm (width) x 2.0 cm (height) at 300 DPI.
- Keep the signature horizontal and avoid small sizes.
7. Submission Deadline :
- The online application will close on October 14, 2024, at 23:00.
