What is RIE CEE ?

The Common Entrance Examination (CEE) administered by NCERT serves as a screening process for candidates aspiring to secure admission to different programs offered by Regional Institutes of (RIEs) across India. These programs include:

• B.Sc.B.Ed. (Four Year Integrated)
• B.A.B.Ed. (Four Year Integrated)
• M.Sc.Ed. (Six Year Integrated)
• B.Ed. M.Ed (Three Year Integrated)
• B.Ed. (Two Year)
• M.Ed. (Two Year).

RIE CEE, or Regional Institute of Common Entrance Examination, is a comprehensive system comprised of eight components. Among these are five Regional Institutes of (RIEs) situated across various regions of India. These institutes are strategically positioned in the Eastern region (Bhubaneswar), Northern region (Ajmer), North East region (Shillong), Southern region (Mysuru), and Western region (Bhopal). Functioning as model institutions for teacher education, the RIEs specialise in enhancing school and teacher education methodologies.

Steps to download the RIE CEE Admit Card 2024 :

• Visit the official website of cee.ncert.gov.in or access the region-wise link provided in the table above.
• On the homepage, locate and click on the “Admit Card” link positioned at the top of the page.
• Choose your respective RIE CEE region, which will redirect you to the regional website.
• Enter your RIE CEE Roll No. / Registration ID assigned during the registration process for the RIE CEE 2024 Exam.
• Input your Date Of Birth / Password as required.
• Click on the Search Now Button. The RIE CEE admit card will be promptly displayed on your screen. Ensure to take a printout and carry it to the exam centre.

RIE CEE Exam Pattern for 2024 :

• Sections : The exam consists of multiple sections.
• Question Format : Objective type questions.
• Total Questions : There will be 80 questions in total.
• Exam Duration : The time duration of the exam will be 120 minutes.
• Marking Scheme : Candidates will receive 2 marks for each correct answer.
• Negative Marking : 0.5 marks will be deducted for each incorrect response.
• Language : The question paper will be available in English and Hindi, except for the language proficiency section.
