• Ration Card Condition : The woman listed as head of the household on the ration card receives the funds. If a male is listed, his wife (as the female head) will get the benefits.

Eligibility Criteria for the ₹1000 Scheme in Tamil Nadu :

• Age and Head of Family: Women who are heads of their families and over 21 years old.
• Income Limit: Family income must not exceed ₹2.5 lakh annually.
• Land Ownership: The family should not own more than 10 acres of dry land or 5 acres of wetland.
• Vehicle Ownership: The family should not own a car or four-wheeler.
• Power Consumption: Annual household power use should below 3,600 units.
