As one of the premier institutions in Arunachal Pradesh, JNC offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses designed to foster academic excellence and holistic development. Key Highlights of JNC Pasighat Admission 2024 :

  • Application Process : The entire application, admission, and fee payment processes conducted online, ensuring convenience for all applicants.
  • Eligibility Criteria:
    • Students who passed AISSCE (10+2) or equivalent in 2024 receive first preference.
    • Those who passed in 2023 but did not enroll in any college will have second preference, provided they submit an affidavit stating the reasons for not taking admission previously.
  • Course-Specific Requirements : For Sociology as a core subject, candidates must have an aggregate score of 55% in their AISSCE examinations.
  • Special Quota: A total of five seats are reserved for Differently Abled students, National Level Sportspersons, certified NCC cadets, NSS volunteers, and Scouts & Guides volunteers from Arunachal Pradesh, irrespective of the catchment area.
  • Document Verification : Original copies of all documents must presented for verification as and when demanded by the office.
  • No Changes Post Submission : Once the online admission form is submitted, no corrections or changes will entertained.
  • Subject Combination : Students must carefully choose their subject combinations at the time of admission, as changes are not allowed afterward.
  • Specific Subject Eligibility : To offer Geography as a subject, students must have secured at least 65% in theory in their Class-XII Geography exam.
  • Reservation : Specific seats are allocated for candidates based on different quotas, ensuring diverse representation.

How to apply for JNC Admissions ?
  • Login / Register:
    • Click the link to login or register (registration required first).
    • Enter a valid email ID and username for registration. A link to create a password will sent to the email.
    • Login with username and password.
  • Profile and Admission Form:
    • Select the desired stream on the profile page.
    • Fill all required fields in the admission form.
    • Have Aadhaar Card and ABC ID created in Digilocker ready.
    • Follow steps to create ABC ID.
    • Bring a hard copy of ABC ID during physical document verification.
  • Submission and Verification:
    • Carefully check all entries before submitting the application form.
    • Download and print proof of successful form submission.
    • Selected applicants will notified on the website and must produce documents for verification during admission.
    • Admission fee to paid offline at the admission counter after verification.

Other Details Regarding Admission :
  • Seat Availability: A total of 180 seats are available for JN College students on a first-come-first-served basis, encompassing both CCE and ECCE courses, ensuring priority access for our own students.
  • Logistics & Facility: Our institution boasts a state-of-the-art computer lab featuring 60 working computers tailored to facilitate effective teaching and learning across various courses offered.
  • Courses Offered: Our flagship program is the “Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application (PGDCA),” a comprehensive one-year course designed to provide students with a solid foundation in computer science and practical skills in computer applications.
  • Fee Structure: The total course fee for the PGDCA program is Rs 7000/-, payable in two instalments for the convenience of students. The first instalment of Rs 4000/- secures admission, while the remaining balance is due in the Mid-Session, as specified by the college administration, allowing students to manage their financial obligations effectively.
Eligibility Criteria for Admission in I Semester Courses :

B.A. I Semester Must have passed AISSCE (10+2) or an equivalent exam with a minimum aggregate of 40% in five papers, including a pass in English (Core) as compulsory. Elective subjects require passing in that specific subject at Class XII level, excluding and Sociology.
B.Sc. I Semester Should have passed corresponding subjects at (10+2) level with a minimum aggregate of 45%, including a pass in English (Core) & Chemistry. Those opting for CBZ must secure passing marks in Biology at the 10+2 level.
B.Com. I Semester Minimum aggregate of 40% at (10+2) level. Students with Arts or Science backgrounds with a pass in English (Core), Economics, or Mathematics at the Higher Secondary level are also eligible.
Preference List for Admission :
  • Students who passed the AISSCE (10+2) or equivalent exam in 2023 will given first preference for admission to the I Semester.
  • Those who passed the AISSCE or equivalent exam in 2022 but couldn’t take admission will get second preference (P-2) for admission to the I Semester. They must provide an affidavit from a First Class Magistrate stating they didn’t enroll in any college/institute in 2021 and explain the reason for not taking admission that year. P-2 students will admitted in the second phase of admission.
  • For selecting Sociology as a core subject, candidates need an aggregate score of 55% in AISSCE examinations, regardless of catchment area.
General Instructions :
  • All processes related to application, admission, and fee payment for the 2024-25 session will conducted online. However, candidates may need to appear in person before the Admission Committee if required.
  • Students who have passed Class XII from the National Open School (NOS) are not eligible for admission to this college.
  • Original copies of all documents must available for verification upon request by the office.
  • Applicants must fill out the online admission form themselves, and requests for corrections or changes after submission will not entertained.
  • Any attempt to provide incorrect information in the admission form to secure a spot in the Merit List will result in the rejection of the candidate’s candidature. If discovered later, admission will canceled without a refund.
  • Failed students are not eligible for readmission into any class, and changing stream or subject combination for fresh admission is strictly prohibited.
  • Once admitted, students cannot change their subject combination, so they should choose carefully at the time of admission. A minimum of 65% marks in theory in Geography (Class XII) required to offer Geography as a subject in the I Semester.
  • Five seats reserved in the I Semester for differently-abled students, national-level sportspersons, certified NCC cadets, NSS and Scouts & Guides volunteers of Arunachal Pradesh, regardless of the catchment area. Applicants under this quota should submit a separate application with relevant testimonials along with the admission form to the Principal, J.N. College, Pasighat.
